Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I'm very impressed with the quality. I know it's made in some factory in China, but whoever designed and engineered this thing is a genius. It makes loading in and out a breeze because of the portability. I'm just amazed how much sound and flexibility this little amp head provides! Reliability How has it stood up over time? It seems very reliable, like others have said--built like a tank. I will probably end up using it in gig situations every other week, so I hope the tubes hold out for at least a year. General Your general opinion of this product. I had debated buying the Mesa Transatlantic 15 or the Orange Tiny Terror, but I figured getting a VOX for half the price was the best overall value. After using it for a few small gigs, I'm still amazed how small, well built and engineered it is, as well as how big the sound. It's an amazing achievement. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Very organic, big sound, responsive. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tones are awesome, really nailing blues and rock. The cleans are great and with your pedal board you'll be able to get any sound that you want. Great job VOX! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It's a beautiful looking head. I put it on top of an Orange PPC112 and it looks classy. Action How was the action out of the box? n/a
As good as full size VOX

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Sturdy case, heavy and solid feeling amp. I have never had any rattles or loose parts on it. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Has held up great! Only use it for practice due to it's small size/weight compared to full size VOX. Small problem with the carry strap for the bag, but VOX sent me a new one, so all is good. General Your general opinion of this product. Very good as a back-up if you don't want to carry around an 80 lb. full size VOX amp like me, or if you just want to get into the VOX tone for a little less money. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Easy to use. Minimal adjustments actually allow wide range of sound. Just wish they offered a footswitch to switch between channels, and maybe even switch between Modes. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Typical VOX sound on overdrive, a little lacking in the clean side compared to full size VOX tube amp. Seems to get a little muddy sounding on clean channel after a couple hours of playing. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Flawless. Chrome housing is easy to keep clean with supplied cloth. Action How was the action out of the box? Sounds very close to my full size amp with the settings tweaked just right.
