Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Seems to be very well made.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Got this on Thursday, set it up on Friday, Rehearsed with the band on Saturday. It paid for itself at the jazz/blues fest on Sunday. It will be abused the rest of the summer, so we will see about reliability
General
Your general opinion of this product.
Absolutely great tones! Some reviews say the effects are lacking. There may not be as many parameters to dink around with and that is fine by me. It can do ALOT more with the effects if you just dink around. There are more effects than I will ever use (ring modulator?) I just need some reverb, echo, a little chorus and some overdrive kicked in once in awhile. The distortion/overdrive pedals/patches are on the mark!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
See above
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
unbelievable tones from this thing. Really! I can get any sound. I don't miss my JCM800 anymore, I don't miss my old Dean Markley 5o, I don't miss my Old Fender reverb, bassman, etc. This gets them all, ALL!
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Heavy metal box (about 10lbs) and looks great. Could see the lights on stage in the sunshine. A big plus for daytime gigs.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Great chanel switching and stomp box mode (my favorite)with out any noise from kicking the buttons on and off. Smooth, no clicking sound or feel.
