Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Mine was pretty much perfect out of the box, I checked all over no errors, excellently made. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've had it now for about a month and its still going, electrics still good and nothing has spontaneously cracked or broken so yeah :-) General Your general opinion of this product. I love my little guitar, I did a side to side comparison with Martin's LX1E and honestly tonewise they're not much different, the little martin is a more bassy fingerstyle while the washburn is more of a sweet strummer. Both are better than the baby taylor IMHO, but not by much they all are very similar. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is a fast narrow neck, I can imagine it being tiring after playing 5 entire bar chord songs but if you play some open in between to let your hand rest, i'm sure you can handle it. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I would describe the tone as bright and punchy. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Great job on the finish waaaaay better than the Little Martin's satin finish. Action How was the action out of the box? I had to tinker with the action a bit seeing as every string was buzzing terribly out of the box but I fixed it in 5 minutes as it comes with the little wrench to adjust it :-) thank you double-truss rod!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This is a stunningly good-quality guitar for the price, with one exception: the sound hole was cut off-center toward the treble side by about 1/4"; I can get by the assymetric appearance given the superb quality found in the rest of the guitar. Reliability How has it stood up over time? For the couple weeks I've had it, there have been no issues. General Your general opinion of this product. Washburn produced its competitor to the Baby Taylor and Yamaha JR guitars, and having played all of these, I'm convinced the WDM10SE is the best of the breed. Its tone, playability, electronics, aesthetics, and quality of materials and construction (aside from the assymetric soundhole) make this a steal for $179! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? This is a very light and compact guitar, which is just what I was looking for. The neck is slim but still promotes chording. The scale length is about 22 7/8", and the frets are slim, Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The acoustic sound is full and well-balanced, especially compared to some other 3/4 scale acoustics I've played. The electric sound loses some of the "zing" but gains punch. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? This has a light, porous satin finish, which seems to let the guitar "breathe" and resonate well. Action How was the action out of the box? The action was fine, but I adjusted the truss rod and sanded the saddle to lower it to my preference.
