Not bad, but not that great either...
Quality:
Except for the frets, the fit and finish are very good for an import. The frets are very sharp on the edge of the fretboard. I will have to take it to a shop and have them dressed properly. The grover tuners are sweet. I replaced a Strat with this guitar. I will need to experiment to get the tone adjusted right, there is a lot of variation with these seymour duncans. After a truss rod and bridge adjustment, this guitar plays pretty well.
Reliability:
Only had it three days now. It looks to be well built..
Overall:
The ad is a little misleading. Only the "G" model has the coil split push pull knobs. AMS sells the "F" model. The guitar is a lot lighter than I had expected, IMHO making it feel a little cheap. The VCC system is neat, allowing a plethera of mixed tones available.
Playability and Feel:
The finish on the neck is perfect. Intonation was just right and the look of the instrument makes it appear to be a very expensive piece. The controls are smooth.
Tone:
Like I said, the VCC system gives the player infinite tonal adjustments.
Finish:
Finish is very nice except for the sharp edges on the frets.
Action:
Way too high out of the box, but 5 minutes of adjustments and it was ready to go..
