This is a very nice stand. I would actually rate it a 4.5, because it did come slightly damaged, not enough to throw me off of it. I just bent the damaged bit back as much as I could (it was the adjustment wheel) and it was fine. It is very stable, with no wobbling of my keyboard, when I play it with harder dynamics. I've had it for almost a week now, and it still works great. Very sturdy.

Good stand. It is adjustable to lots of heights. It is hard to adjust with weight in the stand, so if you have a need to bring the board up or down while on the stand consider something different.

This replaced a stand I was concerned would not be sturdy enough, or would allow the keyboard to fall if it got bumped. This won't necessarily prevent damage from gross negligence, but if you use reasonable care this will be great.

This stand is very sturdy. I received it as a gift for Christmas, and it's already stood up. The box it was shipped was certainly put through the ringer, but this thing came already assembled so all I had to do was adjust the height.

I'm not a keyboardist but a guitarist so have never had experience with these things. I got a keyboard to make some background music to play guitar with. Since it's not my main instrument I didn't want to spend much on a stand. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. Sturdy and easy to adjust for height.

This stand is lightweight, inexpensive, and perfectly functional for a single keyboard setup. Some buyers have complained about the stand being unsteady; those buyers have probably turned the thing upside down. The LONG legs should be on the floor; the SHORT legs should be supporting the keyboard. If you remember that, you won't have a problem with stability.
The build quality is solid. The finish is well applied, there are no rough edges anywhere, and the product is delivered assembled, ready to use out of the box.
The only feature on the product (other than holding up the keyboard) is the mechanism for adjusting stand height. This is simple, functional, and reliable in performance. I am 5'10" tall, and the stand is easily adjustable to a height that works for me when I'm standing, which is how I use it.
I haven't tested everything that's available in this price range. This stand is solid, dependable, and low-priced, so I'm not planning to order anything else.

Feels pretty sturdy with almost no movement when playing. That is what I wanted.
I chose this model because it had good reviews, was a double X brace, and because it was one of the few ones I found that allowed a lower min height((25")than the others by almost 2 inches without modifications. That makes my keyboard height better for my seat. It was a big deal for my setup.

Yes, maybe one of the better units in this price range or even higher (compared to ones I tried at the stores).

World Tour Double X Keyboard stand! This keyboard stand is extremely sturdy. No wobbling! When I accidently bumped my keyboard, it didn't move! Keyboard didn't move nor the stand. Granted I didn't ram it.
The best feature is the second X that helps support the weight of what's sits on top. It doesn't wobble at all.
No assembly required. Just pull the knob to adjust the height and presto! Place your keyboard on top and there you have it.
No sound. Well, okay, only when you pull the knob to lock it in place when adjusting the height.
I got this great stand free from AMS for the purchase of the Yamaha MO6 during their special buy last December. Thank you AMS! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The height control, and the strength of the double bars. Nothing else needed.
