| This wireless is just about as easy as it gets. A true plug and play. No searching for a channel without static and does not pickup pirate signals from other sources. The guy that said this is crap is the one that evidently knows nothing about equipment and is full of crap.. All my gear is all pro and I chose this one over a high end shure unit. The Shure would still pick up signals and static while the X2 was crystal clear. Well worth the 3 bills and then some. |

| You could not make this cheaper if you tried. Even for the less than $300 price which puts it in the "garage band" category, it's still cheap! |

| Less than typical features, which is ok if they made it better. The non-locking cable just puts it over the top though, who needs a cable that stays in place anyway, right?! |

| Someone commented that it "compares to my Mogami cables"! If you have Mogami cables and buy this $300 wireless, either you are completely full of crap or you're a bass player! This thing, even for one of the cheapo wireless systems is bad. It sounds like a Line 6 amp, great idea but absolutely worthless live. |

| like the pedal style reciever, like the battery life LED's. Do not like the transmitter. Plastic is cheap and feels like it's gonna break every time I change the battery. Metal clip is also cheap and doesn't stay on the transmitter for crap. Guitar cable is cheap also. |

| If you can tell the difference between a cheap cable and a Mogami or George L, you probably won't like this unit. Some people can't tell the difference and you can't fault them for that. To me, this doesn't even sound as good as a cheap cable. I kept switching back and forth between the unit and a George L cable and there is a HUGE difference. The complex mids seem to fall off and the nasally high frequencies are exaggerated with this system. I buy most of my gear from AMS and they were gracious enough to take it back without any hassles. |

| This might be OK for a bass player because they play in a different bandwidth. I always seem to fall for the Line 6 product hype. New technology, 24 bit A/D conversion, true diversity, completely different, all sounds impressive like maybe all of the other companies that have been making wireless systems for years had it all wrong. The systems that the pros use are generally in the $1500 and up range and there is a reason for that. Quality of sound! I think the phrase, "you get what you pay for" rings true here. |

| Simplicity at its best. Hook it up and plug it in. Few problems with both items. Dont disconnect the cord from the transmitter; the spring loaded connection device fails inside the transmitter;; at least mine did and I had to srnd it back for repair. Though they did repair it free out of warranty. The cords are a little delicate too; besides that this unit eats batteries at least one 9 volt per club gig; so its not for just walkin around the house practicing; use a cheaper AKG wireless model for that. But sound is where this unit shines; no coloration; loss of overtones; no volume knob; just like using a cord. And the guy gripin about the plastic;; well I've used these units for over a year in clubs;; set it up; tear it down;; drop the unit every once in a while;; just happens. Its a keeper. Try taking the unit out and just dont fiddle with it in the store. It works Great!!! |

| The quality is top notch. I've gigged with this for two years and it has worked flawlessly. All these complaints about the transmitter being made of ABS plastic are silly. It's the same plastic football helmets are made of. Would you want a metal football helmet? I've gigged with the X2 for years with minimal care and the plastic has never been an issue. I actually like it because it's lightweight yet strong. Lot's of people can't deal with change though. All of their gear is made of metal and they can't accept the X2 is made of advanced plastic. Their loss. |

| Less features are better in the case of the X2... wireless guitar should be simple. The X2 has huge blue signal LED's and battery remaining LED's. What more do you need or want? The "features" that analog UHF wireless guitar systems have are actually there to try and pull in a decent signal. the X2 doesn't need this because it's signal is all digital with no companders. The X2 doesn't need a lot of "features" because it's so simple and flawless to use in the first place. |

| You turn the receiver and transmitter on, set both of them to the same channel, and that's it. You don't have to "surf" the airwaves for the best channel like you do with UHF. I can be up and running in 10 seconds. |

| This sounds JUST like a cable. There is no "coloration" of the guitar tone. With digital there is no hiss or static like with analog. You either have full signal or nothing. However, you have to REALLY walk far away to get a dropout. I've never found a stage yet that the X2 couldn't cover. The bottom line is the X2 sounds BETTER than a $1000 UHF wireless system. Why would anyone pay MORE for something that sounds WORSE? |
