Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
very well made. string intonation perfect for me.finish is gorgeous . electronics are very broad for about any style. redwood sides and back with sitca spruce top are perfect and produce good bass ,mids, and clear highs. this guitar is a match for my luv of taylor concert guitar. I expect several years of use with my AC3R .

Overall

I honestly am very thankful i found this guitar,I was about to by a gibson songwriter guitar.Just try this redwood yamaha first,I believe you will be very pleased. Its a solid wood guitar at a affordable price. I saved alot by being patient. Names are important and yamaha has been around for a long time.

How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
This guitar is comfortable. sound is deep, rich mids and nice highs. a versatile guitar aspecially plugged in to my custom amp.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Great for any venue with electronics. I think picking, struming is best for unpluged style. No back feed trouble which i always have to some degree when turned up on the high side.
