A Real Stage Workhorse
Quality:
I played it in bars for several years. Enough said.
Sound:
Sounds great with or without amplification.
Reliability:
A real workhorse.
Overall:
I solo'd for several years in bars and medium size rooms. I expect a guitar to stay in tune, have decent sound quality, and be durable. I owned four guitars to choose from and the other three were much more pricey, but when push came to shove, I would pick up this one. Using a little reverb and chorus, the sound pushed through my acoustic amp wonderfully. When I stopped playing out, it was the one I kept. The thinline body is light but gives a big sound. I highly recommend this guitar and will never understand why it is priced so low, but I'm glad it is!!!
Playability and Feel:
All good. The neck is just right to break down into the high end.
Tone:
Bright sound. Electronics easy to change on the fly. I used some acoustic effects through a Peavey acoustic amp and it always sounded great. Got lots of comps.
Finish:
Black finish held up very well.
Action:
Great action out of the box. Didn't even need a set-up.
Skill Level:
Semi-Pro

Yes i would definitely say this product was made well and i imagine he will be playing it for years. I'm so confident and happy with my purchase.
Sound:
It sounds beautiful
Reliability:
Well he's only had it for about a month now. But Yamaha music brand for any instrument in my experience is very durable/long lasting and high quality.
Overall:
I bought this for my fiancee as an anniversary gift. I was really nervous about buying a guitar because i didn't know which brands were good and which weren't so good. but Yamaha is great with ALL instruments so i went with this guitar. He LOVED this guitar to death! PERFECT for beginners learning how to play. The tuner really came in handy and is easy to use. His friend who is a guitar expert said it was a really good guitar and that the string were high quality.
Playability and Feel:
He said it was very nice and light and thin. Perfect for beginners because it makes it easier to play it when it's not so heavy.
Tone:
His friend, the guitar expert, said that it had great sound and he was very jealous.
Finish:
This is a beautiful guitar. Any white color that you see in the picture is actually Mother of Pearl Inlay. Even on the neck.
Action:
Tune it up and it's ready to go. Strings already attached.
Skill Level:
Beginner
