This kit is great it can be used as a professional and a beginners kit the sounds are great the feel is natural it's quiet it's very sturdy doesn't take up space worth the money.

All it has to do is last and I will be very happy with my purchase. I use it to practice along with my computer right now but will eventually take it out to open mics. My only problem was that when I ordered it, a free throne was part of my decision making process. The picture/offer was there up until the day I received the drums. AMS said the offer was already over so I didn't get it. That kind of bummed me out. I think I'll buy my next product from someone else.

Your general opinion of this product.
I got this unit to record in my studio and I'm not disappointed.I use a drum software call FXspanison BFD Eco which has real drum sounds with a 16 channel mixer and mic/Room effects in it.If you are looking for a low coast small Kit to set up in your studio then the DTX 400X is the kit to buy.With a good sound Software,A real Drummer (if you don't play yourself)and good recording gear you will get pro drum recording every time.The DTX 400K feels like a real Kit.With a little loosing of the bolts you can semi-break the kit down and store it away until the next session.

The i Touch app you can download from your i Phone,You can tune the kit to your liking.
With a few adjustments the sound from the DTX400K Module sounds good.
Looks and feels like a real Drum Kit once you set down and get busy.
For a Kit with this much power it's a good buy for what I bought it for (The Studio)
