Aside from fast shipping, this monster subwoofer made a huge difference to my sound. Combined with a pair of Yamahas DSR115’s this sub was the missing piece to my set up. Strongly recommend it. Buy it. It’s worth it.

Researched this sub for a few months. Even after never hearing it I made the decision and ordered 2 of them and boy I'm glad I did! I've used other powered subs 'qsc,mackie, ev....
And these things just plain rock! No matter the music the dsp selections have you covered in all genres. I would definitely recommend this sub. I would like 2 more!

This sub is like a fist in black velvet glove. Excellent punch and low end extension. In closer proximity, you get plenty of thump for the dance floor. Increase the distance and it takes on a HiFi sound. Perfect for Mid level club band. I use one with each of my DSR115 tops (which have outrun every other single sub that I have used with them) I would highly recommend them. As usual without the AMS 12 Pay, I would not have them. Thanks AMS!!!

Ok so let me start off by saying that these things thump hard! My first time testing these i compared them to two other systems. one of the systems had two dual jbl sr subwoofers. (sounded great as well by the way) and just the two single 18 Yamaha dsx18 subs kept up with the jbls. The other system was made up of 4 cerwin vega 21 inch subs. The cerwins pushed alot of air but wasn't as tight and punchy as the Yamaha's. At the end of it all we used everything together as a franken system. The dxs's defiantly produced a greater punch to the whole system once turned on. Im getting two more for sure. Im sure 4 will really do the trick.

I have 2 of these with 2 DXR 15" for tops. You can't get a better quality of pure sound and loudness, PERIOD! These are MONSTERS! Get the casters and cover, very much needed!

First and foremost i have to say that Yamaha knocked it out of the park with their DXR and DXS series. Over the last 8 months i've replaced all of my speakers with Yamahas. Great products with the best warranty in the biz, 7 Years! I've used many different subwoofers over the years... Yorkville, EV, QSC, Line 6, Mackie and many of them sound good but these things are incredible. So loud! I run them with a pair of DXR15 or DXR12 tops and they sound amazing. With the 7 year warranty you will not find a better mobile system at this price. Get the casters and the covers, you'll need em!
