Sound:
The guitar tones I use most are good. I dont' care for most of the other instrument tones, so don't use them.
Reliability:
I've had it for a little under a year - still in great shape!
Overall:
I enjoy this instrument to practice and occasionally use when I don't want to carry my 12-string around. My sister & her granddaughter loved it - which, by the way, makes a great learning guitar. Her guitar teacher immediately noticed her great improvement!
Playability and Feel:
Odd looking - I get a lot of second looks.
Tone:
fair

Action:
Started playing with it from the day I got it; still like it better than my 12-string

Quality:
It's cheap and feels like your gonna break it. The neck twists and turns as your playing it. The whole thing feel like it would break if it were knocked over. So if you got kids in the house or are buying this for a child, be aware it might break.
Reliability:
Don't know sent it back too soon to tell. But based on it's build quality and all that I'd be really really careful with it.
Overall:
As far as a learning guitar don't bother, just get a guitar and learn. As far as a MIDI controller which is what I bought for, it's got it's drawbacks. It works somewhat but all in all it's not that cool. On some sounds (using it as a controller) you will get notes that have endless sustain, you actually have to close your soft synth in some cases to make the note stop playing. Trying to use it's internal sounds to just record the midi and then change the sound later didn't help either. The MIDI out made some weird noise. And as far as it's MIDI abilities go, it very limited. It has local control off or on and that's about it. Your gonna have to use a MIDI event filter to get rid of the hammer on notes. But it won't do anything about that sustain problem. All in all it's not made for what I wanted to do with it. It's a cheaply made product design to get people interested in playing. And it don't even do that well.
Playability and Feel:
It's weird to play. The note hammer on thing is bloody annoying. Get a event filter on that puppy. It's useful in places but not all the time. And if your a sloppy player it won't forgive you at all, under any circumstances.
Tone:
It's own internal sounds are lame and cheesy. I wouldn't use them for anything. And the speaker don't get very loud either. Like if you wanted to play it after the wife and kids go to bed, nobody will hear you. You can still hear your pick brushing across the nylon strings at full volume. and the strings make very little noise at all.
Finish:
it looks cool I'll give it that.
Action:
A couple of the nylon strings were kinda lower then the others and one appeared like it was kinda loose.
Skill Level:
Intermediate
