The volume control knob allows for user to set a low volume (minimum volume from 0 - 10) so, unlike most volume pedals, you can adjust the lowest volume to your liking. It isn't an "on off" like most pedals- total control with the ability to swell very gradually or stomp it to lead volume. This thing can be used for virtually every instrument that puts out a volume using 1/4" jacks!! My drummer using one to control volume going to his monitor and I use the input 2 to control my keys/piano volume on my personal monitors! Value Was this item an overall good value? Buy one, I garuntee you throw away all your other worthless vol pedals at your buddies for early x-mas gifts LOL!
