These are perfect in my bedroom. I will be upgrading to the 8s but I can't praise these ones enough. There is much bass that can be tuned up or down. I can also plug my guitar helix and use it as a stereo amp when I want. I'm having fun!

I gotta say coming from barefoots and focals, I needed something mobile since im on the go road quite a bit, and I gotta say these things are awesome. I don’t know man I just love these speakers! I had some Adam Audio T7Vs but these babies just do it for me! The highs are high, the mids are mid, and the lows thump… even without a sub! These have PLENTY of power and clarity.

I started my production career on NS10s 20yrs ago, and I always wished there was something close to that, just BIGGER. These delivered exactly what I was looking for. I thought because of the size I wouldn’t need a sub… I did. The low end is great, but a week after purchasing I still was missing that deep bottom. I got the matching Yamaha HS8S sub, and the complete sound is incredible. So far every mix I’ve done has passed ALL the tests… multiple headphones, TV, car, club… mixes sound amazing everywhere.

I upgraded from the HS5s, and these gave me exactly what I needed. I chose not to get sub at first, because these gave me plenty of bottom end… BUT… when I played one of my mixes in a club the bottom end was kind of light. I could’ve chose just to adjust my ear for mixes, but ended up buying the sub. My setup is now perfect!

Looking for some great monitors? Then you need the Yamaha HS7.6. These, I feel, are the best I have ever worked with in the studio. Your recordings and mixes will be absolutely mind blowing. Don't waste your time, time is too important. Purchasing the Yamaha's HS7.6 was the best choice for my studio. They sound super great, and they look great all while enhancing the studio with the white speakers. Listen, don't just take my words on them, you need to try them for yourself! You'll be happy that you did.

I was using the Presonus Erie 4.5
(Very good budget monitors) and was thinking about going with the HS5, but after doing research I see the HS 5 dont have much low end. I decided to go with the HS7, wrong decision, I should have gotten the HS8 just because they sound exceptionally good!!! I will order the HS8 really soon!!! By the way low end is perfect for me but for $100 more, why not get da 8's.....

I purchased the Yamaha HS7s in white. I am very pleased with the clarity and pristine sound. Everything sounds good about these monitors - the highs, mids and the low bass. You will not be disappointed! My son owns the HS8s and for a larger room, they sound great. These monitors are high quality for the price. I give them a 10!

AMS provided unbelievable service getting my gear to me, I placed my order on Saturday when the product was it stock I received a email the next day saying they ran out of the product and it was on backorder so I started to panic cause I needed those monitors asap for a project that was time sensitive, I received a email from AMS letting me know what was going on and gave me the option to cancel my order and get a refund so what should I do now so I called AMS customer service and spoke with one of the reps and he inform me that they should be getting a shipment in a day or so but wasn't sure where it was going to go and that was on Monday then I received another email on Wednesday stating that my order has shipped now I'm excited but I've got my fingers crossed and low and behold my monitors showed up Friday morning with enough time to finish the project and get it where it needed to go, Thank you so very much AMS I will definitely contenu to do business with you and refer you to all of my friends

Yamaha studio monitors have been on my want list for a long time. Once I got this specific model fired up and started working on my mixes, I immediately knew what I needed to do. After a few go rounds I was getting familiar with them and washing away years of not hearing reality. I was able to adjust my mixes accordingly and finish up with the mastering in no time allowing to release my music and be proud of what I was putting out. They are perfect for the size of my studio, couldn't be happier. Thank you American Musical for making it happen with your payment plan! What's next?

Super easy to use and amazing product to say the least.
I had owned a pair of these that were gifted to me before the ones I currently have but ended up giving them to a friend who desperately needed something to use. To put perspective I love these so much that I wanted to get them again because of how awesome they are. They fit a studio perfect with not only physical size but frequency as well. Testing the different places of where I wanted them was perfect because they didn't have a bad sound to them regardless of placement.
Super easy setup as long as you have XLR Cables and an Interface.

Very pleased with these studio monitors. They sound fantastic and balanced without a boost in any particular frequency range. As a result, I feel that they enable me to get the most accurate mixes I've ever gotten. My mixes tend to transfer well to other mediums without numerous attempts (as I've been plagued with in the past). The construction is really solid and sturdy, as well. Nice!

These speakers are everything I wanted and more. Not too much lows, not too much highs, these speakers are well-balanced. Great quaility. If you want extra bass, I recommend ordering an additional subwoofer.

I made the upgrade from KRK Rokits to these guys and the difference is massive. A good way to explain is like it makes your sound 3D, and you can place everything in the mix!
My only advice is you may need to take some time to Tune your ears to the speaker, I found that my ears are so used to the rokit that I was mixing according to that speakers. If you are serious about mixing these are a great choice.
I’ve used Rokit 5/8’s, dynaudio bm5mkii, aventone, and now these, so far these HS7’s are the best!

Very true to your mix, and they have the best sound I've ever had in home studio monitors. My only issue, at times is the sweetness to be a little interference when i get my phone too close to them. But other than that, I would definitely buy these again and for the next guy. Will be getting the sub to go with it next.

Bought these looking to upgrade a set of old Mackies. These are exceptional monitors and allow you to better hear all individual instruments in the mix. They are bright and articulate but do not unnecessarily color the tone of your mix/instruments. If you are looking for awesome and straight to the point studio monitors look no further, well worth the price. And American Musical Supply was superb with customer service and exceptionally quick shipping.

The Yamaha HS7 is an industry standard -- whether you're a home studio owner, music enthusiast, or working from a million dollar studio. What I find so wonderful about these speakers besides the clear, dynamic punch, is the warmth and depth these bring to the mix.
I have been mixing from various sources, checking the results in my car, phone, headphones, etc. and I found myself needing to really tweak the eq of the mix to compensate for the old speakers I was using.
These provide such a clear dynamic range, I found myself hearing parts of songs that I hadn't noticed prior.
If you're looking for a nice, well built set of studio monitors to immediately upgrade your mixing quality and sound, I cannot recommend these enough.

These are great speakers... Yamaha makes really nice electronic stuff.
Studio monitors... Excellent transparent sound. Balanced. They don't get hot or over driven. Great overall.
Basic knolage of studio sound not required. They plug and play.
Best feature... Quality... sound and otherwise. I would add nothing.
Very good.. better than others I have had.
Probably will last a lifetime. Solid as a rock.
