Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? 100% quality. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? the features are perfect if I wanted more features I could go to my studio and grab my yamaha m8 or buy a digital one presonus for example. this is the classic example of an analog mixer GIGO good in good out. no mixer fixes bad performers or bad instruments. this is plain and clear. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? plug and play and like the manual said the less equalizer the better, and wonder why... because this mixer is super clear no sound added to the inputs a lot of science behind that concept. Sound How is its Tone? I have to be honest Toneless this is what professionals like me are always looking for something clear no tone please the mixer is for small venues of practice u wanna hear yourself clear and nothing but clear. I know most mixers add the warm tone to the mix but real musicians wanna her the real sound not a warm john mayer style tone. Reliability How has it stood up over time? so far after 12 hours of non stop playing good and I had yamaha mixers my whole life none of them break period. Overall Your general opinion of this product. wow i cant describe more. I have to disagree with the other review this is not an entry level mixer an entry level teaches you how to route everything this to me is my exit level mixer I know everything about mixers, now I want something simple, small and CLEAR period. entry level musicians this is not for you u wanna experiment with something more advanced buy a 12 channel at least when you become a master you make any mixer even the smallest one sound amazing no equalizer no anything plain vanilla.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The reason I buy Yamaha at this price point. Quality for the price. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Quality and Durability. The compressors on 1 & 2 are nice, but I buy this because of how compact it is and it's a Yamaha which means quality and durability Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Very easy to use if you understand basic audio mixer technology. Sound How is its Tone? Clean, clear. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I'm a Pro DJ and event service and stay very busy. These are what we use for basic setups. 1st one still going strong 2 years later. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Only things cheaper are B*@hrin@er and other crap brands. Sure, you can sometimes get a decent crappy mixer, but I find all of the cheaper brands to be way more susceptible to power fluctuations and spikes, causing short life and poor quality operation. Yamaha suffers from none of that.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Hard to beat! Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The built in compressors on channels 1 and 2 make this a perfect mixer very useful for many applications. No built-in effects on this model. There are stereo outputs for mains and monitors with a pan control, RCA inputs and outputs and a nice LED meter. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Very easy to use. It's a fairly basic, no frills mixer, but it gets the job done! Sound How is its Tone? Very clean, no hiss, no hum! Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've been using this board extensively now for several months with no problems whatsoever. In addition to this mixer, I own several other Yamaha products; power amps, speakers, keyboards, and guitars, and I've never had a problem with anything. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I bought this mixer to use in conjunction with my Yamaha EMX 5014C powered mixer to add more inputs for drum mics and keyboards. I just plug this mixer into one of the EMX 5014C's stereo inputs, and it works perfectly. The mixer is very clean. I've been using Yamaha equipment for several years now. It's hard to beat Yamaha for quality and value.
