Awesome Piano like synthesizer with extremely realistic sounds
Quality:
This keyboard is built durable and tough. Everything about it gives a professional feel and touch.
Features:
I love the dual layer feature and you can control the sound of the main and dual voices to achieve the exact sound you want. Even though this is a synthesizer class keyboard a pair of quality stereo speakers built-in to the keyboard would in my opinion complete this product as they could be used as monitors on stage or for just practicing at home or in the studio.
Ease of Use:
This keyboard is extremely easy to use. The buttons are well layed out. The manual was very simple and easy to understand. I was playing this keyboard with full functionality within minutes. This keyboard has a lot of custom options and they are easy to get to and adjust.
Sound:
This MM8 has over 400 original MOTIF sounds and voices and they are very realistic first class sounds! I especially loved the guitar sounds. With the right touch and technique a keyboard player could actually play guitar music and a listener would not be able to tell the difference.
Action:
The action was excellent. I have been a Piano player for years and I can honestly say that the action very closely duplicates a concert grand piano action. I like the feature where you can adjust the softness/hardness of the action to your preferred taste.
Value:
Excellent value for the price.

Great piano!!
Quality:
Extremely dependable. Very sturdy. The keyboard itself is pretty bulky, but that's what you get with a full 88 key keyboard.
Features:
The best feature is the "real feel" of the keys. I'm not primarily a piano player but the action of the keys feels great.
Ease of Use:
The manual is very helpful. One thing to know though, it is ONLY compatible with the Yamaha sustain pedals FC4 and FC5. Reading the manual does tell you this. But I ordered the pedal at the same time and got the wrong one and it didn't work.
Sound:
Sound of the product is great. You can adjust the sound as you want. Very easy to do.
Action:
The keys feel great. On my keyboard, the G above middle C has a 'clicking' sound. Doesn't come through the amp though. So I can deal with the imperfection.
Value:
The price is right! The sounds on it are very cool. And the arpeggio feature is very neat too.

Great Keyboard -Needs More Drum Patterns
Quality:
Love the feel of the keyboard. Just like a Grand Piano as everyone has said. It's lightweight for an 88 key keyboard, which is great for carrying it around but the plastic casing makes me worry that I'll damage it if it's bumped around during transport. It's a dependable keyboard. I wish it had a regular plug and not an adapter.
Features:
I love the sounds, the keys, and some of the drums. There are some great Rap & Hip Hop beats but just a few of Blues, Rock and Jazz beats, which I use. It needs more straightforward drum patterns and you would have an awesome arranger-type keyboard as well.
Ease of Use:
I'm not one for manuals. I think it's very easy to use. I was able to put in my splits, layers, drums etc... with just the touch of a couple of buttons. I play bass with the left hand and Piano, Organ, Rhodes or whatever with the right so everything is right there for me!
Sound:
Great Motif sounds. Very impressed. The only drawback I have is the modulation wheel. I wish that it would work like a Leslie speaker on the organ or produce a tremolo effect for the rhodes where I would be able to control it.
Action:
Great action! love the way it gets lighter as you go up.
Value:
I feel it was an excellent value for the 850.00 I paid for it but again i wish it had a plug and not an adapter.
