Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Yamaha's quality is superb. I have a 40 year old Yamaha Acoustic and a 20 year old Yamaha Classical and they sound better today than when I purchased originally purchased them. The SLG130NW appears to be even better in quality. Yamaha did their homework when they designed and built this guitar. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had it for a few days, so too new to evaluate Reliability. The neck is great and more comfortable then my standard classical guitar! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It is perfectly balanced, smooth, fast neck and control are perfectly placed for adjustment while playing. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Total range of tones. I love the effects, especially Reverb 2 which makes it sound as if I'm playing in a cathedral. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It is beautiful, no errors and sub-standard work. Action How was the action out of the box? Perfect. No adjustments needed.
