General Your general opinion of this product. Easily the best tone available in this price range. It is not a stage amp, but it excels at what it is. Incredibly easy to practice with, uses batteries or an adapter, sounds much better than I thought it would through the speakers. I do lots of recording and some of the amp models in this thing puts Amplitube out to pasture. Easy enough to use a beginner can figure it out in an afternoon, and the tone and features will surprise even the most jaded veteran. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I've had it less than six months and I have had no trouble from it. It's casing is metal and hard plastic. I think it will last for years with regular use but I wouldn't toss it around like a Peavey either. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Controls are solid, smooth, and self explanatory. You do have to hook it up to a computer to get all it's features and effects, but I don't think there is room on the box to put a knob for every effect. If you aren't at least a little tech savvy or don't have access to a computer then you will have some trouble getting full use of this product. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? This is a high gain modelling amp in a lunchbox. As crazy as it sounds this is one of the best modelling amps I have ever heard. If you are into rock or blues one of the other THR amps may be better for you. If you want to throw down some heavy riffs and shred like Dimebag, this is your amp. Action How was the action out of the box? Not applicable. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Nothing special, it's a pretty green lunchbox that screams like no other. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Fine. No problems but like I wrote earlier I would not treat it like a solid gig amp.
easily the best practice amp that can be bought for $300

General Your general opinion of this product. at first I was a little skeptical because it only has 2 8 inch speakersbut as soon as I plug my Hellraiser Into it I was sold because it gives the same tone as my Randall RT 50 half stack Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? this product is made bulletproof I love the fact that it runs on batteries and you can also plug hey mp3 player or telephone into it and it recreates music awesomely Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? it isn't all that heavy it isn't bulky there's not a single bad thing I can say about this amp even the duel 8 Cm speakers make amazing sounds Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I got the thr 10 X which is the metal version and it gives me tones from the Mesa engineering dual rectifier to dime bags warhead Action How was the action out of the box? well this is in the guitar so there is no action but as soon as I got out it out of the box I inserted the a AA batteries and it worked beautifully then I plug in the power supply and it sounded the exact same I was sort of wondering if it would sound different running of the batteries but it sounds just as good running of the batteries then it does running just off the power cord Finish How did the stain or paint job look? amazing Reliability How has it stood up over time? well I've only had it for a week so I've gotten it wet once and it still works
