Overall:
The price and sound cant be beat with this unit. It is built well and looks great but it will take a while to learn to use it. The manual is well put together but it must be read! As with a lot of rack units, each knob and button serves several purposes. Zoom did as good a job as any of labeling the functions, but it is still confusing as first. The led display is hard to understand and unless you are a genius you will need to refer to the manual to understand the abbreviations for each function and setting. Master this and everything else comes easy. The comp/limiter works great and really adds a new dimension to the sound. The modeling and mic settings as well as the eq should help anyone achieve the desired sound.
Playability and Feel:
Tight knobs and sturdy construction should lead to many years of use.
Tone:
The various settings allow this to sound crappy (if you wish) or bright and alive.
Finish:
This thing looks great!
Action:
Took some tweaking to get the overall tone to my liking but now it sounds great.

Overall:
The A2 is just so so, even for the low price tag it has a few quarks. To start with the power button, you have to hold down the modeling down arrow for 4 seconds to turn on and off. 4 seconds is way to long to turn on and off power/bypass. The quality in the build is just ok. For an extra few bucks you could get a Fishman or TC Helicon pedal that is built better. The effects themselves are good; the accounting molding they have to replicate different guitars is comical at the least. Setting A0 (Martin D28) – I have this guitar and the modeling does not sound like it. I do have to say if they called it something else it would make more sense. The Modeling effect is good but does not make your cheap acoustic sound like a $4 - $15 K guitar. The pedal is useful and has many different effects that will work for a gigging musician, as long as you understand that it will enhance the sound of your guitar not make it sound like a Martin, Gibson ext … unless that is what you plug into it.

This is really a great little box - highly recommended

Sound:
When using acoustic guitar models, you have to match your guitar sound to the model that works with it... This box uses various models of famous guitars... The idea is to get the model to make your guitar sound better, it's not that it's going to sound like the guitar they mention... For my guitar, the Martin model didn't sound that good, it wasn't a good match but the Gibson J-45 model worked great... I'm using a Yamaha CPX15... This same patch also worked great with my Godin Multiac... However, your guitar may work better with other guitar models... but this is par for the course with these boxes... Once you get a match for your guitar, your guitar will sound like a well mic'ed acoustic guitar, very nice sound...
Reliability:
It's a sturdily built unit, I can see this putting up with the abuse of gigs...
Overall:
There is a lot of bang for your buck in this box.. Really, you get an acoustic guitar modeler, great effects, great programming capabilities, a drum machine, a tuner all in one package... It works great... It's been a while since I've been so satisfied with a purchase
Playability and Feel:
If you're used to programming synths, working with the controls of this box will be easy... If not, you have a bit of a curve to learn how different buttons have multiple functions... But it's a logically laid out box, and if you read the manual, you'll be rewarded with the info to make this sound how you like it...
Tone:
Great sound, you can alter the sound to your liking... It really has a lot of sound tweaking parameters...
Finish:
This has a very appealing look...
Action:
Out of the box works fine, but you have to find the model tha tworks with your guitar

Solidly built. Just got it. Everything functional.
Reliability:
It's been fine for the short time I've had it.
Overall:
Innovative, creative, with the controls well laid out logically. The special effects add depth and character to the chords I play on certain songs. I'm a vocal soloist that plays guitar to accompany my singing.
Playability and Feel:
Easy to operate AFTER you read the instruction pamphlet.
Tone:
Wonderful variability. Many different voices. If you've got a good sounding acoustic-electric guitar, you're going to be amazed.

Durable looking lively green.
