Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Great, for the price. The only real down-side is the display. You’ll have to memorize lots of cryptic two character stuff and deal with a hard to read tuner but Zoom designed an easy-to-use knob interface to make the best of it…the manual is not bad either.
How has it stood up over time?
Had to return the first one but American Music Supply made it easy!
Your general opinion of this product.
I AM IMPRESSED! What a great sounding unit, and for only $180.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
. I’ve used it with my Taylor 815 Brazilian with a K&K Pure Mini pickup and with a little tweaking; it sounds a lot like the Taylor with a nice condenser in front of it. It even warms up my Carvin AE185 electric’s under saddle transducer. All-in-all, it’s a great little bargain priced tone machine!
How did the stain or paint job look?
Very good, for the price.
How was the action out of the box?
