Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Made of plastic but the value of this product is in the sound quality and the different recording options it affords. As long as you take good care of it, you'll be good. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Plug and play to garageband through the USB port. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Very easy to use if you read the instructions or watch a few youtube videos, which I always do as I research for products before buying them. Sound How is the tone? Here is where this product stands out. You get the sound of a good condenser mic, or two or four; plus the portability and versatility of a field recorder. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Too soon to tell. General Your general opinion of this product. Great sound, great price. Can be used in many applications/contexts.

Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I consider the selection of recording options - mics is very handy and useful. there is nothing I would add to the unit - it's great for what I use it for. I've owned it for a month. General Your general opinion of this product. This is a solid unit and well worth the money. I've used and owned other digital recorders and this is by far the best of the bunch. I've researched this product for a month or two before purchasing

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Plastic, but good! Never failed me... I use it as the audio for my video camera... easy to sync in the computer... Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Sound, sound, SOUND! A+! I use the external mic in for a shotgun mic sometimes. Works great! I like the fact that I can monitor while I record. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Easy to use, but a lot of menus to scroll through. Not a problem for me! It works amazing! Sound How is the tone? Natural and clean... Sweet stereo image! Takes one hell of a high SPL! (the built in pad takes care of the loud stuff) Reliability How has it stood up over time? It is a workhorse... No problems ever... General Your general opinion of this product. I won't leave home without it!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Plastic case but, what do you really need or expect, just take of it and, I'm sure it will last a good long time. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? This unit has plenty of goodies built in and, even some you wouldn't expect like a tuner and, a metronome. The really big thing though is the 4 mics and, the ability to use them in different configurations. With all the auto presets all you have to do is just push a button and, go that's it. One thing that I don't like doing is twiddling around with knobs and, buttons when I am performing on stage. If I can't set it and forget it it's outa here! Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? I really shopped around before I purchased this unit, I had tried others and, they worked fine but what sold me on this one was all the accessories that it came with at no extra cost. It came with a 1GB SD card instead of the 512 card that was advertised WOO HOO! I still plan on buying a 4GB card down the road. I read through the manual a little bit made a few settings and, recorded my acoustic guitar to check it out SUPER! I can see a lot of usage in the near future to record live performances of myself and, of my band. Very easy to use and, works GREAT!!!!! Sound How is the tone? Sound is very accurate and, clean. Can't wait to try it with my band. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Haven't had it that long but, I have owned samson products before and, I'm still using them for several years so I can't help but believe that this one will follow suit. General Your general opinion of this product. Great unit for the bucks, I am glad I made this decision to purchase the ZOOM H2. I can see why there were so many positive reviews just like mine.

General Your general opinion of this product. I bring it everywhere. It's so light and easy to bring. Make sure you have some kind of case though, it is all plastic. Still, it's a top notch product! Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I give the folks at Zoom a huge thank you for this wonderful product at a great price! I bought a "non-factory sealed" one from AMS and it's perfect! I understand the plastic is probably for the price point. If you take care of it, that shouldn't be an issue. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I LOVE the different mic settings. I use 90 degrees for solo recording, 120 degrees for recording a band in front and the 2CH surround for recording a band from the middle (drums at 90, others at 120), I even use it at 2CH Surround to get ambience from the empty back of the room (my Church), I point the 120 towards the band and the 90 towards the rear). The results in every scenario are fantastic! I haven't used the 4CH Surround feature yet. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? I used it right out of the box with little to learn about it. I do find some of the features in the onboard menu a bit tough to navigate, but it takes very little time to figure it all out. Sound How is the tone? I couldn't ask for better tone! Make sure you have the mic sensitivity low for louder music or you'll get clipping. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I keep it in a case when not in use, so it's in great shape. As I mentioned, it IS plastic though... so be careful.
