Product Review

These work well capturing acoustic guitar but the main reason I got these was to use as drum overheads. Unfortunately I have only had a limited time to use them in that capacity as my space is not air conditioned and the hot Maryland summers make recording uncomfortable. My last session I was drumming in my boxers....Anyway its going to take a little time to get these placed and phased properly so I am hoping to get a session in this saturday as the weather is not so bad now. The sounds ive gotten so far are very promising. They have a depth and clarity I was not expecting in this price range. I am confident that I can get what I need from these guys!

Great little condenser mics

Product Review

These little condenser mics work great for overhead drum mics. They reproduce crisp and clean in a live setting. I plan to also use them when recording.

Makes a Hohner Blues harp sound really good in the DAW.

Product Review

Using the UMC404HD interface, got a very clean, clear harp sound. Also going to build a delta blues specific microphone with a different switched dynamic microphone in order to add a potentiometer for blending clean with dirty tones similar to the Muddy Waters / L'il Walter feeling type of sound.

Great Deal

Product Review

Most of the reviews on the internet are bashing this product very harshly and unfairly. I've seen everything from "bad sound quality" to "practically falling apart out of the box". Several reviewers even complained that the included mic clip didn't fit American stands and that they were euro fit. So let me address some of these things and give my experience so far with these mics. It took me all of two seconds to see that the mic clip comes with a euro fit adapter installed, which unscrews and comes out at which point it mounts perfectly onto a standard american stand. The quality of the c4s are good. Not great, but good and certainly usable. If we were talking about an sm57, we could ask the same question, "Are there better mics out there?" and the answer is yes. That doesn't mean the sm57 or the c4 is worthless. Many people bash anything that says Behringer on it, but I am glad there are companies like Behringer making affordable products.

They will catch the sound.

The mics seem pretty well made.

The different kind of frequencies that it can pick up.

it was relatively easy, I mean plug it in and ready to go however, feed back seems to be an issue, I have work with other mics and this is the first time I get so much of it. The manual did address this issue, in fact it was not very helpful

When the feed back is not an issue the pick up a nice sound in fact they pick up every little sound which is kind of amazing but at the same time it is a problem for recording.
