Product Description

The Behringer HB01 Hell Babe Wah Pedal is the Ultimate Wah-Wah Pedal with Optical Control.

This multi-functional Wah-Wah pedal offers everything you need for virtually all styles and sounds. Different from most pedals the Hellbabe uses complete optical control for wear-and-tear-free pedal operation (no mechanical pots and switches) plus it features a unique spring-back pedal mechanism with resistance adjustment for the ultimate freedom in playing styles.

The heel-down frequency range is freely adjustable using Range control (440 Hz to 250 Hz), so you can use it even with bass guitars. An additional Fine Tune control allows high-end extension of sweep range for achieving incredibly bright, ultra-present tone. The musical Q control is provided for precise filter shaping and achieving vocal-like effects. The tunable boost function includes an On/Off switch that lets you push your licks up to the limit.

Behrigner has included dual LED indicators for Effect On/Off and Boost On/Off at the tail of the pedal. Only ultra-low noise circuitry is used throughout for outstanding audio performance. Run your HB01 on a 9V battery or a DC power supply (not included).

Not as great as I hoped
Your general opinion of this product.
The pedal seems to lag, the effect is behind the motion of the pedal. It also seemed to kick in about 1/3 of the way depressed.

This pedal really is well worth the money.
Your general opinion of this product.
As I said above, it truly IS well worth the money at $50 bucks you can't go wrong. It seems to be a copy of the Dunlop Q535...a GOOD copy...really not junk. However it's NOT made of cast metal as somebody said it was. It's plastic...heavy duty plastic, I DOUBT you'll have any trouble with it under any kind of vigorous circumstances. I wouldn't ABUSE it, as with any other electronic piece of equiptment...they're fragile. But I'm SURE you can treat it as you would a Cry Baby and have NO problems...at less than half the price.

Metal head
Your general opinion of this product.
So far its generally a fairly good buy. As a cheaper version of the dulop 535 Q crybaby wah pedal. It's does have some draw backs all in the construction of this unit that is why i rate it a 3. If you are like me this units is a good buy for someone on a budget.

Great wah for the price
Your general opinion of this product.
More features than I expected, especially for the price. Seems well made. I wish the pedal had a little more travel, but I'm getting used to it. I love the spring-loaded pedal, though - letting it switch off by itself is handy after a solo, etc.

- Wah -
Your general opinion of this product.
This is the best wah pedal with other effects with it . I has alot of wah range and beats the multi-effects pedal wah by far . It may even be better than the original cry baby wah . - I bought it and use it instead of the cry baby that I used to use alot .

HELLBABE Review
Your general opinion of this product.
The idea of the optical design (no button to push like the morley's) is brilliant (i hate not knowing if the button was actually pushed on stage) and the lights to tell you if it's engaged are great too, but it just lacked the sweeping wah you look for in a pedal. Oh and the boost was pointless. I even tried it on a tube amp (they didn't have my amp (bugera 333xl because i bought it from them, so i tried it on a Peavey tube amp) and it didn't do anything for boost. I'm looking for something to really get my solos above the mix without the need to hit my boost pedal on my amp then hit the wah. This did not do that.
