It seems to be of good quality, and is a good value. A must if you are trying not to get evicted for playing your guitar.

The best feature for me is the ability to play as loud and long as I want through my head phones and record on my computer for replay. But the best feature is the software it comes with, you can make sounds from Jimi Hendrix to Black Sabbath with just a click. I practice with a cheapy guitar but I cam make it sound like a thousand dollar strat with one click.

Well in the beginning it was tough to figure out but that was because my computers are 64 bit and the software is for 32 bit. But I found if you go to the web site you can download the 64 bit for free. From there you can also activate your AC Combo software. The program on the disk I could never get to work. Also with the Software you get Guitar Rig Version 3, and it's free to use for 30 minute intervals, then it times out and asks you to activate/purchase and it has almost all the functionality. The great thing is if you choose to purchase, you can save hundreds. It is just an absolute joy to play with, switching sounds and customizing your own amp virtually.

Absolutely a great affordable way to play your guitar with your computer.

Looks like what you'd expect, nothing remarkable there.

Great value, great product

Lightweight, compact, but for studio and home computer use, it shouldn't get much abuse.

A working interface and great sounding amp sims at an awesome price.

I had no problems. Minimal confusion with drivers, but installation was perfectly easy.

Unbeatable value. You can't get within $50 of this price for similar product and features.

Not very important, but honestly doesn't look totally professional.

What a Great Recording Accessory!

I don't mistreat my gear so this will hold up under everyday use for years. But if I dropped it from 8 foot up onto a concrete slab it would probably break apart.

The best feature is just what it's made for, plugging a guitar into the computer for recording direct. If, like me, you don't need the more elaborate USB audio gadgets...then get this!

Too easy. Plug unit into computer USB; plug guitar into unit; start recording!

This little piece of gear is probably the best value I have purchased in at least 10 years!

Great Buy

This is probably one of the better investments I've made. For the price the included software and the ease of use is great.

The included Guitar Combos, I would add some tutorials for navigating some of the recording software though

Very easy to use, some installation complications though but overall a breeze

Excellent

Very sleek, not cumbersome or unsightly

Behringer UCG102 Guitar to USB Interface

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Behringer as always, creates high quality products. Featuring a solid enclosed interface. The inputs have little to no room to work themselves loose. As far as durability goes, this interface, with average wear and tear should last the user for years.

FEATURES:
The independent headphone volume dial is great for headphones that do not have their own volume control. And depending on the application this is used for, the High and Low switch, in combination to the clipping LED, The user should be able to get the sound levels needed for their project. The included Guitar Combos software by Native Instruments allow the user to achieve an insurmountable variety of sounds, although the software could of had more in depth instructions, you can still rock it out of the box.

EASE OF USE:
As Easy as plugging into an available USB port, and installing the ASIO driver(For Windows)that is included on the CD, Using the Behringer UCG102 Guita

Could have been awesome, returning

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Seems to be made well, like it would hold up if dropped.

FEATURES:
Just an audio device. No input volume control except for a level switch from hi to low, which doesn't do much at all. No effects on board, but does come with Guitar Combo software.

EASE OF USE:
Easy to use, but since volume level is so low I had to spend time trying to figure out how to compensate for it.

VALUE:
This would be a great value if it worked.

SOUND:
Sound is aweful because the levels are so low. I've tried two different guitars and set the level switch on high and still can't get a good level. This is unusable if you can't get a decent level when recording.

Behringer's UCG102 Guitar to USB Interface Is Good

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
The construction quality seem solid, my only worry is the slider switch on the side breaking off. I am not a fan of the USB pig tail design, and I wish they went with a device D style jack instead of the hard wired pig tail.

FEATURES:
The switch on the side adjusts the level of the signal. The idea is if the clipping indicator LED activates, then operate the switch. In my opinion this is unnecessary, and that should be controlled in the software. Behringer boasts CD quality from the analog to digital converter in the device, and they are correct. I can convert an analog signal to a digital signal with 16 bit 44.1khz sampling. 24 bit 96khz sampling would be ideal for sampling, because of signal loss during mixdown and mastering, but CD quality is good enough for most hobbyists and home users.

EASE OF USE:
This device is extremely easy to use. To get the most out of it, you should be computer savvy. For you Linux/
