The Bugera 1960I, Experience the Difference!
The 1960I Infinium has one main feature that distinguishes it from all other amps in its class-the two channels come equipped with 2 input jacks each that be used in separate, parallel or cascading operation, bridging the tonal eras of the '60s, '70s and '80s. For example, you can experience classic rock sound by plugging into the upper left input, which puts CH1 + CH2 in parallel (same as using a patch cable between them), or use the upper right input for a vintage CH2 sound. The upper left and right inputs can also be used individually to bring two independent signals to CH1 and CH2. The lower jacks provide series (cascaded) operation for Classic Hi- Gain (CH1 + CH2). Individually, the lower right jack can be used for -6 dB gain, while the lower left jack provides normal high impedance gain.

Infinium Valve Life Multiplier Technology
Bugera's revolutionary Infinium Valve Life Multiplier technology is like having your very own technician inside your amp constantly monitoring and tweaking valve performance for the ultimate in tonal integrity and reliability. This revolutionary circuit not only optimizes the performance of each output tube, it dynamically balances the drive between them to more evenly distribute the load. With Infinium, your tubes last up to 20 times longer, saving you substantial money over the lifespan of your amplifier. Infinium also compensates for the effects of aging, automatically adjusting current levels to keep your valves sounding as good as the day they were installed.

No need for expensive matched valve sets! Mix and match any combination of compatible valve types and brands. The Inifinium system monitors performance of each power tube continuously and displays defective valves to allow for easy and individual replacement.

If and when a valve does reach the end of its life, the system even tells you which one to replace. All you need do is replace the faulty valve and let Infinium take care of the rest for you. This all adds up to more consistent sound quality and longer life for your valves. Maintenance for valve amps has never been this easy!

Making of the 1960I
Bugera did a lot of listening to obscure, long-departed Brit designs, and spent the better part of a year tweaking the hand- selected EL34s and ECC83s to give the 1960I INFINIUM its tremendous range of tonal options. They added a no- compromise post- phase- inverter master volume that can be bypassed for direct signal path and a huge output transformer with specially nested windings for increased dynamic response and clarity. The onboard FX Loop (with true bypass) is ideal for use with external FX, preamps or modeling processors, making the 1960 the go-to amplifier for massive stage sound and unbridled versatility.

3 in 9 Months

What is your opinion of this product?
I'm on my 3rd Amp in 9 months. I sent the 1st one in after 6 months it just died , they sent it back saying nothing was wrong with it which is a load cost me $40.00 to ship it to the center. When I got it back after a month it was dead . Had to send it back this time it was free shipping. After 2 weeks they again told me nothing was wrong with it , I told them that was crap and to fix it. The next day Bugera headquaters called me say tht they were having problems with that service center and they were shipping me a new amp. Great Right ? Wrong. The new amp was defective when played it cuts out then comes on then cuts out , on and on . I thought it was going to blow up my cabinet. Called Bugera again and the said they would send me another new one. Time goes by haven't heard from them about when the new one was coming so I called them again. They told me that they are really busy and don't know when they were going to ship it. So i hope you get the gist of this Review. Don't Buy One.

This amp is a beast of tone!
What is your opinion of this product?
Loud and proud...I couldn’t believe the tone I was getting from this amp, especially when I bypassed the master volume. The lower left input cascades the two channels and that’s where the magic happens. The effects loop works great and the amp overall has a very low noise floor. Very impressed for an amp at this price. I wish I would have bought one years ago!

This thing is loud
What is your opinion of this product?
This thang can get very loud. It is super clean, it takes pedals well. The bright channel is a little harsh, well a lot harsh. The sound that comes out of this channel does not even make sense. The bass channel is a bit muddy when you combine the two it mellows it out,but if you like to use pedals you can tweak them and get a pretty good tone out of this thing. It's defiantly part of my rig ,I love bugera amps. I have a trirec ,1960, two 2/12 bugera cabs, the 1990 will be the next one and so on (yes) so on. I'd like to give a big shout out to AMS they are awesome. Why would you go anywhere else? You get great Customer service, free one year warranty, two day shipping on most products, affordable payment (three payment) is the way to go but they have 3,4,5,8,12 payment plans. I can't say enough good things about them. I buy a lot of gear, they're my number one place to go.

V8 power at a V6 price
What is your opinion of this product?
Im going to start this with some advice. If you are looking for a modern sounding high gain metal machine stop now. Also try and turn off the part of your brain that tells you budget brands are instantly crap. With that out of the way this amp is like paying $400 and getting an angry rhino. This amp is 100 percent untamed power. If you live in an emvironment where volume is going to be an issue this is definitely not your amp. Unfortunately the master volume mod just robs this amp of its goodness. This amp is pretty much all clean headroom without an attenuator. This amp is a pedal users dream. The treble channel for me can be a little to bright for my liking but bring in the bass channel and roll off the presence and treble and boom happy. Definitely throw some new pre and power amp tubes in this thing and its good to go. These infinium amps are legit people. Dont let the past scare you. Behringer is building these amps like tanks.

Bugera's efforts are impressive.
From the first 1960 to the new 1960 Infinium there has been a lot of hard work on the part of the Behringer Company, who owns Bugera? My honest facts about these Tube Amps?In a period not exceeding 5 years from now these will be the Tube Amp Heads/Combo's to try and buy!I've seen this Business work harder than any other competition in there field.Great price, and the big secrete is these 1960 models for this year has the full Randy Rhodes Modifications to them!If you want that Hendrix sound,or the Duane Allman sound, these Bugera 1960's are as close as you'll ever buy.The only correction remaining to fix is to add the "CERAMIC" inputs for the 6L6's instead of the plastic type.
On the road I've installed the "CERAMIC" Marshall Plexi fixtures for all Tubes instead of the Bugera Stock ones!I've got two of these Plexi Heads, and both with the Randy Rhodes packages with the Marshall Ceramic inputs for tubes, and they can take it baby!!!The "ROAD" or the Studio you get the same sound, all the time every time!Just make the simple mod's with the Marshall inputs and you'll get a deal that you want to keep it your secretes?"SOLID"!
Your general opinion of this product.
Greater today than three years ago,and I can't hardly wait to see there obligations to "QUALITY" from the Behringer Commitments. And never mix your "EFFECTS PEDALS"?Go to Behringer's web page, and the first purchase? The HO2 Wa Pedal with the BIG TUBE OVER DRIVE TUBE SCREAMER!And from there see how many pedals you can select from?
Now this is a very grey area for most?Do not make this harder than you have too?A American Stratocaster is "FAT",and "TONEY"!You'll get all the Jimi Hendrix sounds you have searched for!And a solid mix is the OLDIR but GOODIE,a TELE?Now get you a Standard Gison Les Paul with the 59 Classic Pick Ups,and tune to "E",and a good Glass Bottle Slide, and you'll dig right into Duane Allmans sound? No big secretes "MUSIC HEADS"!
Read previous remarks?
As stated in previous statements the "QUALITY" will exceed your expectations!Just make "MODS" with the simple Marshall inputs.
Quick responsive,very toucy baby.

Great bass amp
This amp is a mixed bag; fit and finish seem good, and the transformers look nice. The tube sockets are pcb mounted-not cool. the knobs have a nice feel as do the switches; tubes test very good and are low in microphonics. For the price, I think this is well-made. Hopefully the cheap input/output jacks and cheapo plastic tube sockets will hold up.
Too new to tell, but I am not without concern.
Your general opinion of this product.
This gives you the classic Marshall Superbass sound, and within it's power rating, it makes an excellent bass amp if you wish to sound like Lemmy or Bruce; as a guitar amp, I cannot judge except with regard to construction. Overall I do believe that this is a bargain if you want a gigantic head that covers the Marshall tone pretty well. One feature I absolutely love is the auto-biasing circuit. I have swapped out the EL-34's for 5881, 6L6, Kt88 and 6550's with absolutely no problem, but with obvious tonal changes-this is a GREAT circuit.

old school is cool (:
I do think it was made well.... but the orange light started flashing in front, and the infinium valve monitoring in back had turned on.. and it went soundless. i turned it off for a few mins and it was normal again.
IDK, ive only had it for 24 hours but it seems like a very well reliable amp.
Your general opinion of this product.
im only 18 and i dont really know much about setting up a plexie style amp... but when i got it to my specs it was wonderful. GET IT AND TRY IT, who cares what thoes people say and how "crappy" they are... its a great product, you wont regret it. do payments and try it!!
