Features and sound vs price?win
What is your opinion of this product?
Basically when you compare what this can do and the quality of the sounds it produces at the price it is , its a no brainer , i have owned many synths over the years , and ill admit i was kinda skeptical about buying this ,because it was a $500 casio , but after owning it and playing with it for a while now i must admit i am impressed ,this thing sounds and does things that a $800 plus keyboard would do , it is a very good buy for $500

This synth is off the hook, I've tried dozens of others, no compare
What is your opinion of this product?
Very user friendly, even a novice would dive right in. But more than that, it's a deep instrument for the synth player who needs all the sounds and live controls. For tbe price, cannot be beat.

Great tones - Casio doesnt disappoint!
What is your opinion of this product?
This is the third "high end" casio ive bought and based my decision to buy on the previous keyboards....I was not disappointed and it even exceeds my expectations. Keyboard action is nice I didnt think id care about the battery power option but have actually used it a couple times so far in the first month with headphones. Nice option that i didnt consider much... faders are smooth...knobs could feel sturdier but operate smoothly... Hard copy of owners manual is included and very complete. Many Great tutorials on the Casio Youtube page that are very helpful and indepth. Bought this keyboard to have an all around synth/performance keyboard.

Great value for non keyboard player
What is your opinion of this product?
Overall a good value for a non keyboard player who needs to sub on keys occasionally. Many sounds and most are very good. Easy to get lost in the options and manual is not very good. Keys feel a little cheap.

Great Buy!
This Casio is made very well. It stands well next to its competition.
For this price..for Casio..This is a great machine with a load of tricks, bells and whistles in it. It has great sounds and nice 'manipulations' to them that you can make [sounds] your own. The feature I would add if I could, would be add 15 more keys to bump up from the 61-key..however, 61 isn't too bad :)
It's fairly easy to use. The manual is very helpful, although I am finding myself re-reading through it to make sure I understand the features completely. The manual, I thought, could be explained a little better. It points you to this page or that page in the middle of explaining a specific feature. The keyboard is very playable.. Once you learn and get a feel for what you can do and how to, it will become a breeze.
Sounds are GREAT! Especially from a Casio.. They really did their homework with this keyboard.. Bits and pieces from 'others' were brought back to the table while making this. Hundreds of sounds to choose from with addition to Layer up on sounds and create and edit your own tones. Very nice.
Your general opinion of this product.
I was a little unsure about purchasing this keyboard. I research everything when I am interested in buying something especially something that will get my undivided use and time..I went to play this at my local music store and was blown away. I poured through the sounds and was amazed. I didn't fool with the features too much but just the feel and response from the board was a green light for me. It's exceptionally light to carry..Plug right in and go..Setup anywhere, w/ the battery powered option. It's a great board..a great investment and I'm glad I purchased this. My relative, and other musician buds, use Motifs' but I would confidently bring this into my session and hang right with them!
Action out of the box was great. I didn't read the manual right away.. I just wanted to get it out and play a couple days with it and get familiar with some sounds I like.. It's great out of the box.
Absolutely great value.

Versatile, Great Tones, Affordable Price
It's a light-weight keyboard. Most parts are plastic, but it seems to be put together well.
Very versatile and easy to use. The drawbar organ mode is really cool! The drawbars are adjustable so you can edit the tones. The Step Sequencer is a neat feature too.
Fairly simple and easy to use, but read the owner's manual. This is a well thought-out keyboard with some very cool features that cannot be found on most other keyboards in this price range. It takes a little time to figure out and discover some of these capabilities.
Overall, this is a great sounding board. The pianos, strings, brass and synth sounds are all very good and this keyboard has some of the best drawbar organ sounds I've heard.
Your general opinion of this product.
Great keyboard! Very versatile and user friendly. It sounds great! I haven't found another keyboard in this price range that even comes close!
Typical non-weighted synth action. Nice touch response.
Fantastic value! This keyboard has features that you won't find on any other keyboard in this price range and it sounds great!

Probably the coolest affordable Synth to come out in 10 years
Casio I think did the best job they could without cutting back features. It glows in the dark, it's plastic, and the keys feel like any other keyboard. I mean what do you expect for this price "weighted keys". It's a good all around synthesizer/ workstaion / live board.
The sounds are great, it's not just a workstation it's a Synth you can alter sounds with and use as a stage board with great on-board sounds.
This Casio is very user friendly and easy to use.
Sound are full and sound really good with many sounds and combinations of things you can do with all the sounds. Also has a nice arpeggiation.
This keyboard is probably hands down a great board from the sounds to the look, with many reasons. For many years I owned a CZ-1000 in the 80s and thought this was the biggest piece of Keyboard junk. Now in a new age Casio has finally done their homework. This board is slick looking with all the cool features any inspiring musician could want (Live or Creating). For $500 bucks this board I think will be one of those boards that will give Roland and Korg a run for their money. I am excited to see what Casio is going to do next. Buy this board it's cool!
To me yes, I don't want to pay 3,000 dollars for a new keyboard that is a clone of all the other keyboards out today. To me Casio really stepped back and saw what is going on around them to craft an affordable keyboard with very robust features. Hopefully Casio will come out will many more cool Synths soon..
