Product Review

This is an awesome guitar! Plays as good as some of my $1500+ guitars. Plus it’s one of GOAT’s signature guitars.

LOVE THIS GUITAR

Product Review

Plays great, feels solid, sounds fantastic. Dean really keeps the Dime spirit alive with such a well made instrument. The flame graphic looks amazing. Hardware is quality. You truly can't beat this deal.

quality axe

i was shocked at the sound and feel ,i own a few of dean's less expensive guitars ,and even though they still retain a certain quality ,i did not realize the difference until i played this,if you are a metal guy you can't go wrong with this axe

i retuned it right out of the box and wether it was set up for my tuning or dumb luck it fell right into place ,I didn't even have to make any spring adjustments, the dimebucker sceams like an unpaid whore and if you run any kind of gain you will probably need some kind of gate to tame it a bit, body is solid neck is fast and very easy to move around on more gibsonish than the cheaper dime models which seem to have a wider flatter strat style to them

Your general opinion of this product.

it is awesome ,at least to me

i think i put this under reliability

i could blow on the strings and play this thing

solid guitar

great except for the liscensed floyd rose. it does its job good enough but falls short of other liscensed floyds.

never had any problems. enough said.

Your general opinion of this product.

solid axe. not for everyone though. this guitar doesnt play itself. but thats not nessisarily a bad thing.

this thing is amazingly balanced standing up. never played a better guitar standing. and as far as feel goes, that a personal opinion. it was nice but i prefer jackson necks.

bridge pickup is ok. you have to dig in to hear it come alive. a little creamy i find it to be and very agressive. harmonics obviously rock. the neck pickup is simply amazing in my opinion for soloing and this is an axe that you can actually use both pickups to achieve single coil-esc sounds ... if you know how to mess with your guitar knobs.

this thing looks simply amazing in person. nuff said.

being how i got one with a great fret job, you can have it pretty low with no buzz.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
I would consider this product well made enough for me. It does not have the quality certain other Deans have, but I was looking for a guitar that, more or less, I could just take on the road and never fail to burn with. VERY dependable. From the factory, all this guitar needed was a set up job. I use trem setters, but, they aren't a necessity.

FEATURES:
The best feature on this guitar is the Dimebucker. It absolutely RIPS! The least impressive is the "floyd rose". If I could change one thing...GET THE ORIGINAL FLOYD ROSE!

EASE OF USE:
On the whole, it just takes some getting used to the length of this guitar. I already have my strap set unusually low...somewhere between James Hetfield and Billy Joe Armstrong. I'm 6' 3'' and this sucker comes down to my knee.

VALUE:
I don't really think it was worth quite the price I paid. Maybe 150-200 dollars cheaper would have been better.
