Not worth it

Not so good. The tuners sound like they will break each time I tune it.It doesn't stay in tune well even with good strings.I have DR Dime 10's on it.Really cheap tuners. It has a lamenet finish on it. Not real mahogany or real trans. black. It does scratch and Dent easy though mine has no dents in it. Just a few small scratches. The pick up's sound terrible real flat and muddy not goos sound at all.A Squier bullet strat is better made than this.I have now found the 5'7'9th frets to be dead.

I have had this guitar for 2 yrs. and it has been good other than the tuner issues and pick up's.I take very god care of my gear.I play it everyday.

Your general opinion of this product.

It's not that good of a starter guitar I like Dean but very disapointed in this guitar.I would rathewr have a Squier bullet straqt for the same money and better sounding and quality.Maybe I just got a bad one but i have heard that getting a good one is lucky as the quality on these sucks.

This is the only thing really good about this guitar. It is easy to fret and play.Nice flat fast neck.It is also easy to adjust the action on the bridge too.Mine is set low.

Sounds very dead and muddy.I cannot get a good crunch tone on this thing on distortion. It also sometimes sounds like a sick distressed cat.

It is nice but not real it is a lamenet finish.

Good low but i made it lower by adjusting the bridge.Very easy to play.I'm still learning and an 42yrs.old.This was a good guitar to learn on.The angular neck joint is nice.

Great starter guitar!

I was a little nervous about purchasing this Dean guitar, but I'm glad I did. I'm using a little Park G10 Practice Amp, Danelectro Metal II pedal, and this guitar. It sounds excellent. The tuners keep everything in tune, and the pickups are good.

I haven't had this guitar long (1 week), and I can already tell the finish will chip somewhat. I'm not using this instrument for anything other than practice jammin', so it will be fine for me.

Your general opinion of this product.

Nice quality for the price. I was mildly surprised.

Good feel for the value. A bit on the heavy side, but not overly so. The finish on the back of the neck allows comfortable sliding. Controls are easily accessible.

Tone was excellent. Sustain was great... once again, I was mildly surprised. As a practice instrument, just a super hot sound.

Finish was nice. I like the transparent black because it has just a hint of woodgrain showing through. It has some similarities of a flat finish. Virtually no fingerprints.

Once the instrument was tuned up, I checked for fret buzzing... none. Strings were low, even at the 22 fret. I checked for tuning both open and 12th fret.... passed.
