    Product Description

The DiMarzio DP193F Air Norton F-Spaced Humbucker Guitar Pickup excels in both the bridge and neck position, providing great harmonics and depth while remaining very clear even when used with high gain amps. The Air Norton magnetic structure reduces string-pull for improved sustain and better pick attack and dynamics.

Combine the Air Norton F-Spaced humbucker with an Air Zone, The Tone Zone or Steve’s Special in the bridge position for a perfect blend of power and tone, or use a DP193F Air Norton in the bridge position with a DiMarzio Air Classic Bridge model in the neck position for a distinctive medium-output blues-rock sound.

    Tech Talk
When the Air Norton F-Spaced pickup is in the neck position, it's a warm, open-sounding pickup with enough power to balance with all bridge humbuckers. Try it with 500K pots for maximum treble and harmonic presence. In the bridge position, the sound is medium output with solid lows and biting harmonics. You can try it here with 250K controls, or a 500 K volume and 250K tone to fatten the highs up a little.

What is your opinion of this product?
I use this pickup in the neck of my #1 guitar. Its my favorite neck pickup that I've tried. And I've tried many. With that said...I've yet to find the neck pickup that does exactly what I want. This is the closest I've found. Its a little weak and farts out on the wound strings. Like most neck pickups with high gain applied. The unwound strings, however, retain a nice chimey high mids sound while the highs are a bit "hollow". As neck pickups go its still a winner in my book!
