Product Review

So I have been playing Elixirs for, well, a long time! My Ibanez 5 string came with them and these are the only strings I will use on that bass. I just bought a 2015 Warwick Corvette $$ and the string were dead so I replaced with the Nickel version so my two prime basses are strung with Elixirs. Love the tone and longevity as I replace them every 9-12 months despite no tone degradation but still nice for a refresh. In all my years, I have only had one string fail on me but I had back-ups (which were boiled) in my gig bag. Excellent product and will continue to use these for years to come!!

Product Review

I've never tried stainless steel strings before and didn't know what to expect. They have slightly less output than the strings I'd been using, but the level at each note seems much more even than my older strings. The low B string is substantially thicker than my older strings, so much so that I had to modify my bridge to use it!! But the upside of that is that fretting on the low B is now much more rigid and not "floppy" Nice product.
