Product Description

The Epiphone EJ200SCE is an acoustic electric version of the EJ200 in a striking jumbo-body acoustic guitar, featuring ornate inlays and decoration, with a maple body and a solid spruce top - and a cutaway! Its larger body produces very balanced tone and even more resonance than a dreadnought. Authorized by Gibson USA, the EJ200SCE also features a comfortable 1.68 inch nut width, gold hardware, a rosewood fretboard and a maple neck. Using a scientifically created finish, select woods and carefully chosen design elements, Epiphone instruments are designed for nothing less than a lifetime of the finest musical performance.

About Epiphone Guitar
Epiphone's passion has always been about more than just making guitars. It has been about making music. It has been about understanding what is inside every musican that makes them want to, have to, express themselves. And understanding the myriad musical styles, where they are going and how they might develop. For over one hundred and twenty-five years they have continually looked for new and better ways to help players take their music farther.

Bridge and neck problem's after 2 year's

Product Review

This is a beautiful guitar in every way and it sound's great when in tune. The problem I have with it is when it is intonated and set up the high E string hit's the neck pick up and buzzes like mad. It played well for a year and went out of whack to the tune of needing a new bridge. Epiphone is using new wood that has not cured long enough and the neck won't stay in position even with adjustment's to the truss rod. I bought a PRS Se Angelus and it is so much better but twice the price.

Plays similar to a Taylor 315ce

Product Review

I’ve been extremely happy with this guitar since I bought it! It plays very similar to my Taylor 315ce ($1,600). For the $600 I paid I definitely got my money’s worth. Obviously the electronics in the Taylor were better (they came with Neve hardware) but this guitar solid electronics with stereo / mono options as well and has worked well recorded. The onboard tuner is convenient and seems very accurate. As an acoustic, it has a rich full tone and when I play an open E chord, I can really feel how the low end of this guitar stands above the smaller bodied gtrs. I have a heavy hand and I love playing on a guitar that can withstand the abuse I bring along with my creativity lol. Highly recommended for guitar players who want a full robust tone and are not looking for that tinny / bright sound that many acoustics have! THX

Wowza

Product Review

I used to own a Gibson J200 that was stolen from me years ago. I swore I’d never play another acoustic guitar after that heartbreak. Ten years later my son puts down the first payment on this beauty. It looks like my original but being a cut away, having the acoustic electric factor, the phaser, and esonic 2, it was more than just a guitar. It’s cosmic. Emotional healing aside the ease of playing this guitar is phenomenal. It is the envy of every guitar player I cross paths with. The stereo sound is a dream for an acoustic sound that has really put me on the map, as a player. The craftsmanship and design on this is a standard only Epiphone could pull off. It’s more than an acoustic electric it’s an experience.

Love at first strum!

Product Review

I have been playing an Epiphone AJ-220sce for the last few years, and thought that was a great value for the sound, but then I got this guitar, and Oh Man, it just blows that one away. The tone, the sound and even the volume I get with this when plugged in are head and shoulders above that version. It truly has a jumbo sound, and you can sit there, play it for hours and your fingers won't get tired at all. Yes it probably could use a set up out of the box, but I think it was pretty good right out of the box. I did a lot of research, played Taylor, Martin, Takamine, Epiphone-Masterbilts and even a few Gibsons, and yes they all played great, but for a fraction of the price, you can get a quality guitar/sound that won't break the bank. If name Brand really matters to you then go for it, get the high end guitar, they are worth it, as for Me, I think Epiphone is almost there, and at quarter of the cost of Taylor, or Gibson.
