    Product Description

“The World’s Most Beautiful Electric Guitar” Available for a limited time, the Les Paul Custom PRO KOA features a KOA top, and the critically acclaimed ProBucker™ humbucker pickups with coil-splitting along with Les Paul Custom style gold hardware, fully bound body, neck and headstock, Graphtech® nut, and pearloid inlays.

The Les Paul Custom made its debut in 1954 after the initial success of the Les Paul Goldtop. Mr. Les Paul himself wanted to convey to audiences that the electric guitar was not a fad but a superb and challenging instrument—the king of all electric solid body guitars. So, Les requested a Les Paul with a custom finish and gold hardware that would look sophisticated on any size stage. The Les Paul Custom quickly became one of the most recognized guitars in the world and Les himself used his Les Paul Custom in concerts, on his weekly television show with wife Mary Ford, and on his album covers, including his famous duet with pal Chet Atkins, Chester and Lester. Now with a stunning figured KOA top with a Natural finish and Epiphone’s superior ProBucker humbucker pickups with coil-splitting, we think you’ll agree that the Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO KOA is indeed one of the world’s most beautiful guitars.

Les Paul Power With a KOA Top
The Ltd. Ed. Les Paul Custom PRO KOA features a warm, tone rich figured KOA top along with the Custom’s traditional solid mahogany body in a rare Natural finish and 5-ply white and black binding on the KOA top and Mahogany back as well as the “Custom” classic headstock. Just like Les’ personal Custom, the Les Paul Custom PRO KOA has a solid Mahogany 24.75” scale neck with white binding that’s hand-fitted and glued-in for optimum neck-to-body contact so the Les Paul Custom PRO KOA resonates as single piece of wood. The Rosewood fingerboard has pearloid block inlays, a 12” radius, a 1.68” Graphtech nut, and 22 medium-jumbo frets.

    ProBucker Power With Coil-Splitting
The Les Paul Custom PRO KOA is powered by Epiphone’s critically acclaimed ProBucker pickups, a 4-wire design with coil-splitting inspired by Gibson’s legendary BurstBuckers. ProBucker pickups recreate the sound of the original hand-wound “PAF” humbuckers made by Seth Lover at the Kalamazoo factory in the late ’50s. Epiphone ProBuckers feature all the same ingredients as original PAF and BurstBucker pickups, including Alnico II magnets, Elektrisola magnet wire, 18% nickel silver unit bases and covers, and pole screws, slugs and bobbins manufactured to Gibson’s original specifications. The result is a phenomenal pickup that, over time, will develop the subtle, one-of-a-kind characteristics that you can only get from vintage humbuckers. And best of all, those unique pickup characteristics will give your guitar a unique “voice.” No two vintage Les Pauls sound alike and ProBuckers give your Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO KOA a one-of-a-kind sound that will get better the more you play.

    Great Guitar
What is your opinion of this product?
Beautiful guitar and plays great. I'm a start man and never cared much for a les Paul. I the guitar is really nice looking with the koa and love the coil splitting sound. I'm still tweeking it but it's mostly miner adjustments.glad I bought it. The only thing negative was the tone knob was off the guitar but AMS took care of it.

    Very pleasantly surprised!
What is your opinion of this product?
I have to say that if you have any reservation about buying an Epiphone instead of a Gibson, let that reservation be gone! I own 16 guitars, with Gibson, PRS, Fender, Peavey, Hofner, and many other brands being among them. This is my first Epiphone and I can honestly say that it is in the same league as all the others, at a fraction of the cost. I had to look under bright light to find the very smallest of flaws, and it took a while to find them. The pup selector and the volume and tone pots may not be top of the line, but are very usable. The pups sound fantastic, and the coil tapping and phase reversal features really enable you to get any sound you want from one guitar. Regarding set up, all I had to do was adjust the intonation slightly on 2 strings, and lower the bridge to my desired action of 5/64ths. This solid figured Koa top is gorgeous, and all of the binding and inlay is very well done. The logo and split diamonds are mother of pearl. Blocks are pearloid. Get one...NOW!!!!!!

Most beauitful guitar in the world so far
What is your opinion of this product?
This guitar not only is beautiful but sounds better than she looks. The natural KOA finish is stunning and is set off by the gold hardware. My guitar has sustain for days and stays in tune no matter how hard you play. To me this is Epiphone's best guitar to date. In my mind, they have set a standard of fit and finish and sound that will be very hard to beat. I only hope their next LTD Les Paul is better but I don't see how that could be at all possible.
