    Product Description

Epiphone introduces the Les Paul Special VE (Vintage Edition) electric guitar featuring the classic Les Paul profile with a lightweight Poplar body. The Les Paul Special VE is powered by Epiphone Open Coil humbuckers and is available in beautiful new ‘Vintage Worn’ color finishes. For decades, the Les Paul Special has been one of Epiphone’s bestselling electric guitars. The Les Paul Special VE, inspired by the Les Paul, the greatest electric guitar in rock, continues the tradition of giving new both players and pros a real Les Paul at a price anyone can afford.

The Les Paul Special VE has a Poplar body with a sleek look thanks to the Vintage Worn finish and no binding on the neck or body. The Les Paul VE is cut to the same classic profile of all Les Pauls and has a comfortable and fast Mahogany bolt-on neck with a 1960's SlimTaper D profile. The Rosewood fingerboard has traditional Pearloid ‘Dot’ inlays, a 24.75 inch scale, a 14 inch radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a standard 1 11/16 inch nut. Just below the headstock is the famed ‘bell’ shaped truss rod cover found on every Les Pauls since the early 50s with ‘Vintage Edition’ in white.

    Epiphone Open Coil Humbuckers

The Les Paul Special VE features Epiphone’s world famous open-coil humbuckers with a warm 650R in the neck position and a slightly hotter 700T in the bridge or lead position. Controls include a 3-way pickup selector switch, a Master Volume, and a Master Tone control, each with traditional “Black Speed Knobs” pots with long lasting 500K O potentiometers.

    All-Metal Hardware
Epiphone features all-metal rock solid hardware on all of its instruments. The Les Paul Special VE comes standard with the legendary Locktone Tune-o-matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece for easy set up. Tuning is fast and reliable with Epiphone Premium Covered tuners with a 14:1 ratio. The higher the ratio, the more accurate your tuning. The tuners are mounted on an Epiphone Clipped Ear headstock with Les Paul Model in gold and the Epiphone log in silver. In addition, a '2016' Edition logo is on the back of the headstock.

What is your opinion of this product?
I got this guitar it's appearance alone. Surprise! It is one great guitar for the price. Out of the box I only had to tune it. Intonation was right on. The tone is great. Since I got it I have been playing more than my other guitars.

Well worth the money and more for a great Les Paul guitar!
What is your opinion of this product?
Got this one in TV yellow with a SDOTD price! Couldn't be happier for that impulse decision to buy! I have been playing for a long time, been in quite a few bands, and have done session work and teaching. The neck is solid as a rock, the frets were polished beautifully, the pickups are second to none sound and tone wise. Clear, warm, and really sustain well when you push it through your favorite combo or stack! The finish was flawless, the tuners work as they should, and the wrap around bridge adds to the character and sound of the guitar. Light weight with plenty of mojo. Great Blues guitar, as well as rock.

    Listen Up Y'all
What is your opinion of this product?
First I will rant about AMS. Call in the order. Two days later the Fed Ex dude is knocking on the door. The Epi Les Paul Special VE Faded Red. Absolutely nothing wrong. I fell in love with it straight from the gate. This Epi is beautiful. All of you players out there know when you first pick up your new guitar if it is a dog or not. Believe me. It's like buying a car you really dig and keep looking out your window out into the parking lot thinking, Wow I got a great deal. Epiphone is making a big run. If you know anything about the history then you should appreciate the renaissance The pups are insane. I'm playing with the volume knob set at 3 and my champ 20 set at the same set and the neighbors are freaking out. Can't wait to get to my practice place and crank it up.
