Product Description

The Epiphone Riviera 12-String is modeled after one of Epiphone’s most enduring classics, the Riviera. Introduced in the early 60’s, the Epiphone Riviera’s semi-hollow design has been a favorite of players from all genres and generations including blues great Otis Rush, Lou Reed of the Velvet Underground, and The Strokes’ Nick Valensi, who all found the Riviera’s legendary ES-body shape could produce great tones with any pickup variation.

The exclusive Riviera 12-string has mini humbuckers for that bite of a single coil with the fatness and mid-range snarl of a humbucker. Get yours today!

In 1975 I had this guitar for a year someone broke in to my apartment and stole my Epiphone guitar and nothing else, I was in the US Army and just getting married and was unable to buy another one at that time. I was sent overseas to germany for 3 years, not until after I retired in 1994 was I able to afford a new guitar. n 2013 my wife passed away and I was on my own I began searching the web for this Guitar in 2019 by chance on UTube I saw a referal to your company and found my long lost Guitar thank you so very much for making my dream come true!!!!!

Amazing!

Product Review

It’s been a long time since I have purchased an epiphone. I had them when I was much younger and always viewed them as a guitar you get if you cannot afford a Gibson. I will admit that I have not given them a chance over the past almost 2 decades as I have had a pretty snobby attitude towards guitars that aren’t made in America. That being said I recently saw the p93 riviera and was intrigued by the 3 p90 combo and decided to play it. I was blown away at how good the quality was. I purchased it on the spot and have been very happy with it. So when I saw this beautiful 12 string I decided to take a chance on this as well. I am SO GLAD that I did. This guitar is amazing! I have a Rickenbacker 360 12 and this epiphone is far more enjoyable to play. I know that Rickenbackers are their own thing so it’s not a fair comparison but the reason I like the epiphone so much more is first of all the neck. It is wider and much easier to play. Second the smaller higher pitched strings are on top instead of underneath. I always thought that was weird with them. Anyway I say all of that to say this $700 Epiphone I believe is much more playable than my $3000 Rickenbacker. Don’t let the made in China fool you. This guitar is very well crafted and I am so glad I decided to purchase it. You will not be disappointed!

Way better than expected, great purchase!

Product Review

don’t let the “made in China” sticker fool you. I’ll be 100% honest, the workmanship that was put into this instrument is amazing. No sharp frets, no messed up finish marks, just a great overall 12 string guitar. I’ve been waiting for this model to come out at a more affordable price (because let’s be real, the vintage and elite models are top dollar) but this guitar gives you a hell of a lot for $700. I play through a Marshall origin 50w head and 4x12 cab and when this things got some overdrive, it’s sheer rock n’ roll. When played on clean, all the notes shine through nice and clear and jangly. The neck is just about as wide as the regular epiphone 335 pro (which I also own) so it’s familiar, and nice and easy to play especially since I have smaller hands. Would definitely recommend purchasing this one if you’ve been looking for a real classy looking, yet very versatile and comfortable playing 12 string. When I say classy, this thing is a real looker. AMS also sent my guitar out right away and I got it in 2 business days (great on ya guys btw) I never write reviews but I felt this one deserves one for sure. 10/10

Awesome playing beautiful guitar.

Product Review

I’ve been wanting one of these in red for years. I have a black one made in 1997. And the nut on the new red one is wider. Much much easier to play. Hard if you have large hands and trying to play a 12 string. Very very happy.
