Awesome Guitar!!

What is your opinion of this product?
Guitar arrived after two days so I was happy for the fast shipping. The guitar has great tone and offers a variety of sounds. I read in an earlier review about putting a 5 way toggle switch to replace the 3 way toggle. I think I will do just that for more pickup combinations. Playing through a marshall half stack and it sounds more than killer.

Your general opinion of this product.
Just a beautiful thing to look at. Great action. Feels right. Better than I am.
Solid. Neck is very good. Probably not worlds fastest but up there
Can be bright. Can be mellow. Can growl.
Deep and lustrous
Purchased 2nd hand and wasn't good but local shop at Mooloolaba fixed it for nearly nothing

Great Guitar for The Price
Considering it's assembled in the States I'm sure Gibson and Epiphone have tight QC with the Les Paul name attached to it. I thought it is just what it is, a "Black Beauty"
Have had it since Xmas 2008 and if you care for it properly I'm sure it will last a lifetime.
Your general opinion of this product.
Excellent guitar for the price. A Gibson BB LP was 5 grand so this was an option to get the LP sound for someone on a budget.
Has a great heavy solid LP feel, the neck is very comfortable and the controls are smooth. I added the tulip machine heads to give a more LP traditional look.
Sounds is equal of a Gibson LP and the tone is great. Playing through a V Amp Pro effects pre-amp and the humbuckers give a lot of variables.
The Black paint is flawless and if you keep it clean and waxed it looks incredible.
The action was a bit high, however I had it professionally set up and made a huge difference.

A LOT of Guitar for the Money!
This was my first Epiphone purchase. I have been a drummer/guitar player since childhood, and most of the guitar players I ever knew (back in the 70's and 80's) scoffed at Epihones, so I was a bit dubious when purchasing this guitar. But it was affordable, and I was reassured by the fact that I could return it for a full refund if I did not like it. However, I was absolutely FLOORED by the quality of this guitar when I first opened the case! PERFECT finish, High quality hardware and electronics--I was amazed that this guitar displayed the same high quality as a Gibson Black Beauty, for less than a QUARTER of it's price tag!
I have had this guitar for over two years, now. I have played it almost every day, and have had no issues with it, at all.
Your general opinion of this product.
I believe this guitar to be of very high quality, and the tone is AMAZING!
The palyability of this Black Beauty is just that--BEAUTY-ful! I lust love the way it comes alive in my hands! The controls are all in a good place, the neck is hefty but nice (this guitar is very heavy--just like it's Gibson counterpart).
I hate to keep saying it, but just like the Gibson, it can be adjusted to have a bright tone, Scooped and Punky, Ballsy and rockin', or anything in-between! The third pickup gives you a lot of versatility. I only wish that Gibson would have put a five-position switch in the configuration to allow more tonal selectivity.
The finish is perfect. Not one flaw. This is difficult to achieve on a black finish, 'cause everything shows-up on black, but they did a fantastic job!
I liked the action right out of the box just fine, but preferred it to be lower. I do my own set-ups, and it was really simple to make the adjustments and do the intonation with the ABR-1 bridge.
