Extremely well made for the price range, I mean it's not a Les Paul but a good clone of one.

Just got it so I can't attest to it's durability but it's a Epiphone so I'm assuming it was made with quality in mind.

Your general opinion of this product.

Overall I think this quite a package, especially if you are just starting out or like myself getting back into it after putting it down many years ago. It has everything you need to get going.

Well one thing you can expect with a Gibson style Guitar, it's a little heavier and the neck a little wider but I already knew that going in. It is great to play, good action, controls are simple (there are only 2), feels great and feels sturdier.

Has a mellow and soft tone, you can overcome that though with a little tweeking on the amp if you're into the grungier or snappier sound. I personally prefer the Darker, mellower sound.

Not even a smudge on the finish, I was worried because the shipping box took a beating but it was well packed. Not so much as a ding anywhere on the merchandise.

Well after some tuning, it was ready to go out of the box. Maybe I'd suggest changing the strings out before too long but out of the package it's ready to go.

37 first Guitar

For the price quality is okay.

I have had this product for 9 months and so far so good.

Your general opinion of this product.

This was my first guitar and since I did not know much having the package helped. Did do a lot of searching and asking about all lower priced guitars and this seem to be the one to get.

Since this is my first I can't really compare to other guitars.

Dark and smooth.

I would recommend to replace the strings as soon as you can and lower the action if needed.

This guitar was made to last a lifetime. You can always depend on it. I haven't had to replace anything other than strings on it.

I have had this guitar for about a year and a half and its just like it was when I bought it, with the exception of a few small scratches.

Your general opinion of this product.

I think this is a great guitar for all skill levels. Amazing for beginners.

This is the lightest Les Paul I have ever touched in my life, and the neck is very skinny. Its great for little guys like me.

Pickups sound good, you get a little feedback but for the price who cares.

Paint looks okay, but I got it in plain black, and its not hard to paint a guitar a solid color.

Action out of the box was great.

Professionals Highly Rate This Guitar

It is quite well made. My neighbor picked it up and said oh this is a serious guitar.

heavy and light enough for me.

Your general opinion of this product.

This is my starter and I am well pleased. I asked several musicians about it before buying and they all stated the Epiphone Les Paul was good and the package deal couldn't beat it anywhere. I was so impressed on the contents of the package and the price was too good to pass up.

It feels good to hold and the neck is just perfect for me.

The color couldn't be any perfect. It matches the drums set at my church.

Epiphone so sad

Although Gibson designed Epi as an entry price point. Some of the Epi's are decent (Sheridan, the LP is worth the $ compared to American Les Pauls.

after a month, I returned it to the rightful owner, the Boys & Girls Club. We HAD to junk the tuners. Replaced with $22 Wilkinson's.

Your general opinion of this product.

I enjoyed dismembering this slab of uncured wood. The frets may have been finished with a chainsaw. Neck misaligned, humps It was so bad, I did a partial refret to remove humps and reshape the radius. There is really good inexpensive product made in Asia Korean stuff is a steal. Sadly, Epi built masterpieces. Gibson shamefully uses the LP name to market a guitar guaranteed to make the new player give up in frustration. Asia from Korea korea

The neck is a Louisville Slugger. I enjoy thin tapered necks, but that's a personal preference.

The original Humbuckers were unremarkable. The P-90's are hot. I took them to a speedometer repair shop and had the magnets "immersed" A Dan Earliwine tip

The sunburst was well done.

Initially, the box left the factory with no flaws. But today I think the Epi has much better tone.

One of the Best "All In One" Sets

Epiphone is known for Quality Control, and keeping in mind this is their lowest priced LP, the quality is far superior to any other "budget" model, even from major manufacturers.

Very well. Never outside of the house, but never cased either and still straight and solid.

Your general opinion of this product.

Epiphone's entry level sets surpass every other mfr's. My comments are based on entry-level sets.

This is still a heavy, solid body guitar, and the neck and frets size is very good for chords and scales.

The tone is as good as can be for entry-level, and this guitar is pedal friendly for experimenting with more sounds.

It looked great! Especially for an "all in one" set! Hi gloss, polished, smooth with no marks or problems.

Set up could've been better for an Epi. I have an Epi acoustic that came set up better, but tunable and playable no prob.

Good starter guitar package

Neck and body feel very durable and solid. Not heavy or too light. Neck is smooth to do those quick slides.

I've had this guitar for almost a month. So, its test of time will tell in short order, I guess. Nothing was broken when I got it nor has any thing been broken while I've been playing.

Your general opinion of this product.

This package is one heck of a deal. I got a great beginner guitar and an anp all in one. The guitar sounds great. The amp will suffice enough for anyone who wants to play guitar. The override feature lets you jam at a high level or mainly with a thick bassy sound when not depressed. When I have the guitar only on 2 I get a monster sound out of a little 15 watt amp. What more can I want out of an amp without spending bunches of money? The one downer I do have to say about this package is the DVD. I thought it was going to have something like a dummie's how to play chords on it (akin to how guitar hero or rock band is setup). Boy, I was badly disappointed. If you haven't been around a stringed instrument like a guitar or bass, then the DVD is for you. Otherwise, it is a waste of time to watch.

For me, I like a fat, low, and bassy sound to when I play. Hence, the rhythm portion on the guitar is always on for me as I play. Like I've before, the neck is smooth enough to do fast slides and passages. However, for a beginner, I don't think one would want to start doing that until your fingers get adjusted with the blistering from the strings. Even doing simple things as a chord has blistered my fingers--I've played bass for nearly 5 years and never had this happen!!! Two knobs are good enough for me. They are in easy reach as I play, but I don't employ them as often yet since I'm still learning.

Bright and snappy definitely describe the pickups for sure. Use the tremble switch on the guitar and pluck a few strings.

I really got this version because of the classic look. Pictures can be very deceptive. Good looking guitar.

Pretty good. I'm thinking of adjusting it slightly when I put on some new strings. Otherwise, the action is on the guitar and my bass feel nearly the same.
