Product Highlights

Product Description

Redesigned for 2016, the Extreme Cream-II is like two overdrive pedals in one! It cleans up great from the guitar and stacks well with other pedals and amps. When Fuchs Audio introduced the Plush® Cream™ a number players became repeat customers. When we asked why, they explained that they set one for a great rhythm crunch, and the second for a screaming lead tone.

Fuchs went beyond solving that problem in the Extreme Cream™. Fuchs Audio gives you two 3-knob channels. One is voiced like the stock Cream™. The second is voiced warmer, all under one hood. A simple a/b switch and a simple on/off switch make operation a breeze.

In addition to the selected Integrated circuits, Fuchs Audio carefully chose each resistor and capacitor to voice the Extreme Cream™ to be quiet, smooth yet articulate, and dynamic. Both channels respond well to both picking strength and guitar volume, and, best of all, it feels like a tube amp and is proudly hand-crafted in Clifton, NJ, USA

Product Specifications

Fuchs Plush Extreme Cream II Specifications

The Plush “Extreme Cream” pedal is a unique product, designed by Andy Fuchs. It uses a unique circuit topology which uses a combination of IC’s and selected FET’s, for lowest noise and the warmest tube like overdrive tones possible. The input impedance is 1-Meg, suitable for most any guitar or signal source. The output impedance is approximately 1-K, which is buffered, to drive long cables as well as subsequent effects.

The DC jack on the side is a standard 2.1 mm tip negative adaptor input. A Plush DC adaptor may be purchased from your local dealer or any standard Roland style (or similar) DC adaptor may be used. The output of the adaptor must be 9-Volts DC. Using this pedal with the incorrect adaptor may potentially damage the pedal, which will not be covered under warranty.

Battery replacement: To replace the battery, remove the four screws holding the rear cover in the unit. The battery should be replaced with a new premium quality 9-V alkaline battery. Battery life (depending on usage) should be approximately 6 months to one year. Battery not included.
