Using a unique circuit topology, the Plush Replay Tube Delay Pedal features up to one second of pure warm delay. The Replay has a True High Voltage power supply providing 300 volts to a genuine tube audio stage as well as a real tube level indicator. The Replay was designed as a replacement for tube delay pedals. The objective was to free the player from maintenance, the cost of replacing tapes, and to provide a simple to operate, musical platform for your musical expression.
The unit is a full function unit, which can operate with pedal or rack level effects and is built from the finest premium parts, and will give you years of enjoyment and high performance with no maintenance required. All connectors are Neutrik quality, the case is a solid 16 gauge steel enclosure with an industrial powder coat and baked on silk screening for long life and durability during use. The internal circuit boards are G-10 glass-epoxy and the circuit boards are double sided.
The Replay Tube Delay also features the same proprietary great-sounding digital technology used in many of other Plush pedals, for the delay line. The control panel is angled, and features ultra-bright LEDS for highest visibility on stage or even outdoors. The control panel features: LEDS for: Power, peak signal, tap tempo on, tempo indicator, echo mute. Replay's operation is as simple as a tape delay. No fancy programming, or software silliness. Designed by musicians for musicians.
A discrete (delay only) effects loop, allows you to process the delayed signal through a reverb, or outboard device, prior to mixing within the tube audio stage. This output may also be used for a remote footswitch. While the Replay can be used on a pedal board in-front of an amplifier, for best performance, we encourage its use in an effects loop. The Replay is simple to operate its unique retro styling is equally at-home in a studio, as it is on a stage.
Plush Pure Gain
The Plush “Pure Gain” pedal is a unique product co-designed by Nelson Pass (a noted high end audio Designer) and Andy Fuchs. It uses a unique circuit topology which uses high gain FET’s, for lowest noise and the warmest tube like sound possible.
The Plush Pure Gain Pedal. The name says it all!
A unique circuit topology unlike anything currently on the market, the Pure Gain gives up to 25db of gain (that’s about a 20 times increase in your guitars output level), with an astoundingly low noise floor. By using selected and matched devices in the circuit, premium parts throughout, we have what we believe may be the quietest gain boost on the market.
Besides a true hard-wire passive bypass, the gain control allows you to use Pure Gain as an active buffer, which converts your signal from a high impedance input to a low impedance output. Excellent for driving long cables, driving a pedal board, or use it to drive an overdrive pedal or amplifier into searing high gain territory. Excellent for raising single coil pickups to humbucker levels. A small footprint allows easily fitting it into most pedal boards easily.
This pedal incorporates a solid aluminum enclosure, a durable powder coated finish, premium passive components, metal shaft controls, and is backed by a five year warranty.
The unit is activated when a standard 1/4” guitar cable is plugged into the input jack. If using this unit on battery power, the guitar cable should be unplugged when it’s not in use, to extend battery life.
The Plush “Pure Gain” can be used as both an active buffer, and as a gain booster. When the control is in its lowest position, the pedal is operating in unity gain mode, which means the input signal and output signals are identical in strength. The advantage of keeping the unit on, in unity gain mode, is the signal from your instrument is buffered. This means its output impedance is much lower than its original 1- Meg ohm value. In unity gain mode the “Pure Gain” provides a 1-K output impedance, which is ideal for driving long cable runs or pedals with low input impedance. As the gain control is increased, the booster adds gain only as required. Unlike other boosters which produce full gain at all times and simply lower it with a volume control “Pure Gain” truly adjusts its gain, which makes it the quietest booster made today. It also allows you to use only as much gain as you choose, keeping noise as low as possible.
When set at maximum gain, “Pure Gain” provides up to 20-db of gain for any input signal. Its input impedance is 1-Meg, which is suitable for most any guitar or keyboard input. It has an extremely high overload point, which means, should you hear any distortion, you are either overloading the input of the pedal, or the pedal has increased the signal level to the point of overloading the amplifier, pedal, or device it’s feeding.
The Plush “pure Gain” provides a hard wire bypass, which means when not in use (LED not lit) the input is connected directly to the output, with no loading of the signal, and no active devices in the signal path. The DC jack on the side is a standard 2.1 mm tip negative adaptor input. A Plush DC adaptor may be purchased from your local dealer or any standard Roland style (or similar) DC adaptor may be used. The output of the adaptor must be 9-Volts DC.
