    Product Description

Updated and upgraded, the Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS is for guitarists who want more from their axes. Featuring a compound radius two N3 Noiseless pickups and the Atomic Humbucker in the bridge, the American Deluxe HSS has more output for fatter leads and no hum operation. Reconfigured S-1 switching offers other distinctive tonal options while the passing lane switch instantly routes your signal from any pickup position to the bridge position bypassing the tone circuit to provide more overtones and a little more volume.

What is your opinion of this product?
This guitar is almost perfect. Good locking tuners, LSR nut, the good Strat bridge, nice pearl-like white finish. The N3 pickups sound ok, better than a vintage Strat, more depth, warm, cut, but I am buying a set of Lace pickups, the hotish single ones, and either one Lace humbucker or a Bare Knuckles humbucker, maybe Aftermath, for the bridge. I bought a set of the Babicz T-saddles, which should also improve the tone, but they have not been delivered yet. It sounds good now, it with sound better soon. I like the Strat as much for its configurability as its playability. Might even make up an all Lace singles pickguard and a dual Bare Knuckles pickguard. We will see how the S1 switch works with that. Everything goes out through either a Blackstar id:260 or a Blackstar Studio 20 right now (my only two decent amps). Both differ enough so that I can make it sound like anything I want. Country, surf, fusion, thrash. It's all there with this Strat.
