Great guitar for the money
Product Rating

Product Review

This is a great sounding guitar. It was setup well right out of the box. Frets and everything were done really nicely, and the pickup options give a lot of different sounds. I bought this guitar to give me a different sound Han the Strats I usually buy, and it has quickly become my favorite guitar to play. It is very versatile and can get some non-Fender tones while still having the 25.5 scale, which I prefer.

This guitar gives you everything you could want from a high end Telecaster. The tonal range is phenomenal. The only thing that makes me shake my head is having spent 180.00 for a new case. Back in 1974 when my parents spent 468.00 for my first Stratocaster it came with a case, strap and cord...

Very pleased with this guitar

Product Review

When I first tried the guitar, wasn’t sure I would like the bulkier V-shaped neck. Having smaller hands, and being a senior citizen, it didn’t feel as comfortable as my Les Paul. My wife said buy it anyway, “You will get used to it.” She was right. Didn’t take me long to fall in love with this new addition, not only feel but classic sound.

I am a blessed man!

Product Review

Made the right choice on this Tele. The definitive Tele tones roll off this baby like so easy. Fit, finish 100% perfect. I had a STD Mexican Tele a few years back, and regret selling it, but this one sounds and plays better, although it was twice as much. Totally on par with American Teles. Really high end looks and sound. Didn’t need a set up. I did take the strings off right away and replace with slinky’s. No hum. Playing it on a Blues Junior. Nice! Got a good deal from AMS when I asked, and they were friendly. Thank you! Will buy again.

Great Sounding Traditional Tele

Product Review

This is a fantastic guitar that looks, plays, and sounds amazing. I've owned many telecasters throughout the years and this one is among the best. This is a well built and well thought out guitar. This guitar has a very solid feel and great sustain...thanks to the swamp ash body and 3 saddle ashtray bridge. The neck is not too thin and not too thick...somewhere between a 50's and a 60's profile. The custom shop pickups break up nice through my Fender Hot Rod and sounds equally good through my Marshall and my Laney. Many great tones possible thanks to the S4 switching...the series/out of phase position sounds almost like a wah...and is vowel-ly. The bridge pup cuts nice...is spanky when your bear down and rips when you solo. Overall they don't get much better than this.

The tone will blow you away!

Product Review

All my Fender guitars are American reissues, a1957 Strat and a 62 Jaguar. So when I was shopping for a Tele to finish my collection, I looked into the direction of another American reissue! I read and watched every review I could find. I found a video that compared 3 different telecasters 2 American and one MIM. The tone was distinctively different with the MIM version. Vintage tone modern country and a couple of punchy alternatives. If you’re looking for one guitar that does it all this guitar is it. 6 different setting that deliver Country, Blues, Funk, and Rock. This guitar is amazing and the quality is every bit as good as any American Fender. Plus it’s the easiest and lightest guitar I’ve ever played!! Want a telecaster? Buy this one? Also this is my 3rd guitar I’ve bought from AMS. Interest free payments and the absolute best customer service in the business. I’M STOKED! Thanks guys!

Great Tele!

Product Review

I purchased a minor blemish and cannot find a single issue except the pick guard but that's not a blemish but a flimsy Fender thing that I will replace with a vintage blackguard bakalite. Love the sounds, the deluxe gig bag is lame but I already have a tweed Tele case that Im going to use. For the life of me I dont know why Fender hands out crappy gig bags on an 800 dollar guitar. But this is awesome. Will look to mate it to a princeton soon.

Great guitar

Product Review

Couldn't wait for it to arrive when it did it had a pretty decent setup already, plugged it into my 68 custom deluxe and it sounded awesome. The action was already decently low like I like it and the four way switch on it is amazing. I'm really enjoying how full-bodied that extra switch sounds. Great feeling guitar

Very nice guitar

Product Review

I have been wanting a new Telecaster for a while. Picked this one after reading online about how great these are. I couldn't be happier. Had the guitar setup and it plays as good as any guitar I've ever had. Well worth the price. Very good quality and fit and finish.
