Amazing guitar after 3 days of tweeking

What is your opinion of this product?
Before I start the review I just have to say I've seen better setups on squiers. The box mine was delivered in had a thin layer of dust so right away I knew I was in for a rough ride. The gig bag is honestly laughable. It's the bottom of the barrel really. Won't hold that against the guitar tho. AMS needs to step up their QC. I know theyre not Sweetwater but if I hadn't had the tools to fix the guitar it would have been returned right away. That said... Pros: the pickups are amazing. Not sure if it's the pickups or I just have amazing electricity but there is virtually no hum. You would think bei g vintage pickups it would be 69 cycle city but it's almost dead quiet. The feel of the neck is great too. I didn't expect to enjoy a gloss neck but it's not sticky like you'd think. The guitar is beautiful and the Pau ferro fretboard looks great. Cons: the truss rod adjustment is in the neck joint which means unless you happen to have a tool that will fit between the neck pickup and the neck, I did fortunately, you'll have to remove the neck every time you need to adjust it. For the intermediate guitarist not a big deal but I can see a lot of new players feeling overwhelmed right away. The fretboard on mine was very dry. Had to oil it twice before I didn't feel the roughness when doing bends and such. Overall it's a great guitar and with some love it could definitely be the last you'll need. Im fortunate to have the tools to work on it tho. If you're willing to spend a day or two tweeking it then do yourself a favor and buy this guitar. The tone is amazing.

Tons of tone
What is your opinion of this product?
Plays as well as any American Fender I've owned. The pickup setup allows you to get so many different tones out of the guitar. Be ready for a little hum, there's nothing wrong with the guitar. It's part of the tele charm. If you're looking for quiet consider a guitar with humbuckers.
