    Product Description

The Fender Classic Player Jaguar Special Electric Guitar updates Fender's iconic Jaguar model with some thoroughly modern improvements. These include hotter pickups, a redesigned Adjusto-Matic bridge with floating tremolo tailpiece, a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and an improved neck pocket with increased back-angle for improved stability and sustain.

The tremolo plate has been moved closer to the bridge to increase break angle and sustain. A screw in tremolo arm increases stability and control when executing divebombs.

Great Guitar with an Interesting Setup
    Product Rating
What is your opinion of this product?
This is a great guitar, I personally own an American Strat and a Les Paul, and this is a great addition to my collection. The neck is extra large with big frets making it very easy to handle for lead and rhythm. This guitar has a real interesting look and sound which makes it great for most alternative and late 60's fair. Just a heads up on the circuit as there is not instructions and Fenders website lacks any explanation. The switch on the left side top of the body controls access to a separate lead and rhythm channel. Rhythm has two rolling knobs for tone and volume. The lead channel has a standard knob for volume and tone as well as pickup on/off switch and a separate on off switch for an additional tone modifier. It's a lot to get used to but totally worth it if you are looking for a guitar with a lot of versatility.

DO NOT THIS GUITAR! Questionable quality...
What is your opinion of this product?
Questionable quality and uncaring customer service. The top pickup selector/switch broke after 6 months of owning this guitar. The Fender repair dealer (Triple S in Bloomfield, NJ) said it was damaged. Not sure how a broken switch is determined to be damaged and not a defect in the guitar. Fender agreed with Triple S and will not pay to have it fixed under warranty. As such, we have to pay for the repair out of pocket. Fender did not even try to look at the guitar and determine the damage to their product which is a bigger issue as it could affect other guitars. I do not recommend you buy this guitar or any Fender product. The quality is very questionable and the company refuses to stand behind it. Stay away from this guitar and go with a more established company like ESP, Ibanez, Gibson.
