    Product Description

The Squier Mike Dirnt Precision Bass was designed in collaboration with Green Day’s own Mike Dirnt and offers great vintage vibe with a punk attitude! With early '50s Precision Bass styling designed to the Green Day bassist's own specifications, and huge, gnarly punk-pop sound that effortlessly punches right through the thickest guitar attack, this P-bass is ready to hit the stage! Mike chose to move the special star graphic to the neck plate and chose some new pickguards to adorn his Squier bass.

What is your opinion of this product?
This bass is much lighter and easier on my shoulder than my other basses. The pickup is bright and this bass has more sustain than my American Jazz Bass. After a set up from my local guitar tech, I haven't wanted to set it down. The neck width is between a Precision and Jazz neck yet slightly tapers at the nut. Im glad I decided on this bass. Im gonna add a thumbrest because I play with my pointer finger and its fun to customize nice instruments. You'll see, this bass seriously resonates either with twang or lows really well. Mine is black with the white pearloid pickguard. The fit is tight and the hardware and tuners arent small, theyre worth owning and appreciating. Ive been playing bass since 1993, The Mike Sirnt Squier Precision Bass is quite exceptional in value. I play Ska and R & B with mine.
