What is your opinion of this product?
Tie was when Squiers were "good guitars for the money." No longer. Now they -- or at least the higher-end ones -- are good guitars period. I've been playing for over fifty years and own and have owned a host of guitars. My last three have all been Squire Vintage Modified models, all excellent, and none better than this. The guitar is what it is: A Cabronita wth a Bigsby. The added Bigsby also means that the lead (bridge) pickup is a normal Tele type, not the Gretsch-style one that here graces the neck position but on other Cabronitas is used for both. The mix makes for a wonderful range of available tones. All of the above can be gleaned from the photos and stats. What cannot is the extraordinary quality of this guitar -- or, at least, the one I received. The neck is gorgeous. Fret work perfect. Smooth to the touch, buzz free. The finish is perfect. Truly glossy black. Good quality chrome and aluminum. The tuners are smooth and fine. Just superb in every way!

"To Infinity And Beyond " !
What is your opinion of this product?
Squier has outdone themselves with this one and I am more than pleased with this guitar ! Read many reviews but I must say that the one I recvd. was "spot on" Fit and finish was primo. The pickups were better than expected and action was just right for me. Frets were smooth and the Bigsby did not throw me out of tune while doing some wobbles. I do not mind the single volume control as it works just fine "as is". I have tried Squiers made many years ago that were insanely "inferior" beginner guitars. These new ones have really turned up the heat on quality all around when put up against the American Fender guitars. Maybe I was just "lucky" ? It was worth the gamble of the low price tag for me... I hit the jackpot and will use this in the studio as well as live. The social stigma days of being seen playin a Squier are "OVER" On the chance you purchase one that is not so good ? I'm sure AMS will gladly take it back ! Suggestion ? "If" you are hesitating the purchase of one..Don't!
