Product Description

With classic blackguard Telecaster vibe in a gorgeous Vintage Blonde-finished pine-body guitar, the Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster Electric Guitar is an impressive guitar with a great look and even better sound.

The vintage-tint gloss-maple neck has a maple fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets and a modern 9.5 inch radius. Distinctive Telecaster tone rings from the custom Alnico III single-coil pickups—giving clear note separation even when distorted, strong midrange dynamic response and plenty of solo high-end bite.

Squier Classic Vibe Series
Back in 1982, the very first Squier by Fender guitars and basses came ringing out of Asia. Known for their excellent vintage-quality look, feel, sound and construction, those early Squier instruments and their Fender branded counterparts are now highly sought-after collector's items revered by guitar enthusiasts as models of getting it right while aiming at value-conscious players.

The Squier Classic Vibe Series reflects that simultaneous commitment to excellence, value and vibe. Mirroring classic Fender designs, the Classic Vibe offering is not intended to be era or vintage correct, but rather imparting the vibe of a classic Fender design. Each with distinctive feature set combinations, all adding up to one classic looking instrument.

"Little Sister", is up on her game!

Ignore the Squier Name on the Neck! This thing is a True Telecaster! 7.5 Lbs. of Pure Rockability! Just Like any Guitar you get from a box, it will need to be completely set up, but once it's dialed in, It's unmistakably Tele!

Product Review

I had put off buying a tele for years because of cost.I've always wanted one, but refused to buy junk! This Squire is unreal! I've been playing for over 50 years, and have owned many guitars and sold most of them.I haven't picked up anything other than this tele since it arrived.I play everyday, it's my outlet!

This guitar rules!

Product Review

I've owned and played pre-CBS Teles and I gotta say you have to go Custom Shop if you want to go where this guitar goes. Forget the price tag, the Squire label, and overseas build. This guitar dimes the classic Tele sound period. It just does.

As good as it gets

Product Review

This guitar is a pro quality instrument. The fit and finish is perfect. Pickups are first rate. I have a dozen very high end guitars and yet I still love this Tele. You cannot go wrong with this baby. I got mine on the 4 pay plan and received it 2 days after I ordered it. AMS is the best site for equipment.

Fell In Love All Over Again

Product Review

Awesome Guitar!!!

I only gave it 4 stars for quality because my bridge pickup started cutting in and out on me. Other than that I love it. I Hot Rodded mine. I replaced the bridge with a stamped steel genuine Fender bridge. Installed a SD STK-T2 bridge pickup which is "THE BOMB", replaced pots with Fender 250K CTS pots and installed a Fender Am. Std. 3-way switch. I also replaced pickguard with Am. Std. BWB pickguard so I could adjust the neck pickup without having to remove pickguard every time. I kept the neck pickup stock because it sounded awesome. Now I basically have a Fender American Tele at the fraction of the cost. It REALLY ROCKS OUT NOW!

Well balanced. Neck feels GREAT! Controls work as they are supposed to .

Great tone. Still has that vintage sound and tone without the noise.

Love the finish - VINTAGE BLONDE that lets wood grain show through is a nice touch.

Great value especially if you are looking to Hot Rod or modify it.

When I finished Hot Rodding mine, I gave it a James Burton Tele Spec. setup and this thing will almost play itself now.

I'm impressed

Product Review

Looks great, sounds great, and out of the box it plays pretty good.

For the price the quality is amazing. As far as different genres of music, great for blues, and if you want to get that Keith Richards sound for classic Stones, THIS IS THE GUITAR. I haven't tuned it to open G yet, but I'm going too. In my opinion, I don't think there's a music genre where this guitar would be out of place, it's extremely versatile.

The guitar has good weight to it, and balance. I was really suprised wieght of the guitar, because of the body being pine, I thought it was going to be lighter. The neck is fast, for me neck size is perfect. My only gripe is the ends of the frets were rough. Some some masking tape and 600 emery cloth cleaned that problem up in no time.

Wonderful clean tone, and the perfect amount of bite. I use tube amps, and this guitar is very touch sensitive. It sounds like a Telecaster should.

The finish on the body and the neck are both immaculate.

I'm going to editorialize here a bit. I don't know why people can't get over this name recognition thing. I own Epiphones and this is my second Squier. Both brands offer unbelievable bang for the buck. I've played for a long time, and I've learned two things: One, the player makes the guitar, not the other way around, and Two, price has nothing to do with how good a guitar sounds or plays. This guitar is worth every penny, and then some. For those of you who would pass this guitar up because Squier is on the headstock instead of Fender, do yourself a favor and realize that the decal on the headstock doesn't make a guitar play any better.

I lowered the action on the guitar, but that's because of my preference for a low action. I do that with everyone of my guitars. It was playable out of the box, the intonation was spot on, plus I bend a lot when I play, and the thing stays in tune.

Achieved tonal nirvana

Product Review

Love it.

Best guitar ive played. And ive played fenders

Awesome. Medium feel.

With the tone maxed out it sounds amazing. Bright snappy but full sounding. You could roll off the tone a bit to get a more p90 type sound. I never do that but i thought itd be nice to know. My only criticism is that i wish there were a little hotter of a pickup in the neck that balanced in the middle position. But i also have yet to mess with the pup height or anything. Im a little afraid to make even the slightest of mods because i feel like i might compromise the raw swagger of this fiddle.

Beautiful. The vintage blonde (and my friend's butterscotch) look significantly better in person than they do in the mf catalogue. The wood shows through the finish just the right amount in my opinion.

If every quality guitar was this cheap. I would have alot of guitars. This guitar was everything i expected and more. About half the price of its fender equal and it sounded equal to or greater in the a/b demos ive seen online.

Really good feels pretty good in your hand and strings do not have the extra tension that ive experienced with more lo-fi squires
