    Product Description

As a lefty, Tim Armstrong knows how important it is to get left handed guitars out to the south-paw masses. This Fender concert sized acoustic electric guitar is based off of the worn down Fender acoustic that Tim Armstrong used when creating many tunes for his legendary punk band, Rancid. The Tim Armstrong Hellcat acoustic is great for pounding out chords or upstroking punk and ska ballads while paying tribute to this incredible songwriter’s acoustic.

What is your opinion of this product?
Bought this guitar to replace my aging Washburn and I have to say that I am very impressed with both the guitar and American Musical Supply. First off, I had ordered a different guitar (different brand--same price range) and when it arrived the intonation was wwwaaayyyy off. Despite efforts it could not be corrected. I called AMS and returned the guitar the next day and got my refund in about a week. No problems. Now, for the Fender Hellcat, it is a great looking guitar, came almost set-up and ready to play, unplugged it is a little boxy, but has a sound all its own. Plugged in it is a great sounding, well balanced guitar. I would not hesitate to purchase another one.
