A Tele that is great but dosen't sound like a Tele.
Product Rating

Product Review

Mine is a older American Thinline but the MIM one I have looked at look and sound just as good. It has the timber almost like a 335 but a different sound. The F hole makes a huge difference in a good way. Not the Tele twang but a very usable sound. I have had it for a few years now with no problems. I also have a American standard Tele, they both play great but sound very different.

Plays as great as it looks!

Product Review

I have had many electric guitars from Strats to Les Pauls and this ranks right up there at the top. Plays effortlessly and sounds like a Tele should.

Fun to Play

Product Review

I've had this guitar for about 10 years now and have never regretted getting it. Besides all the compliments I receive from people when they see it, this guitar has a unique sound to it. With the semi-hollow tele body and dual humbuckers, it's great for adding fills and playing rhythm. I saw an original '72 in a guitar store in Nashville and this axe is really close to being a copy of it.

Fantastic guitar !!

Product Review

Surprised at the excellent quality of this guitar. I was really blown away. I hear from good sources that MIM guitars now have all American parts and are just manufactured in Mexico. The wood is beautiful w/ maple neck and has fantastic tones. It is a rock solid guitar and it plays like butter, AND holds it's tune without any issues. AS with any guitar, get a good set up and you will be a happy camper. Promise !

Your general opinion of this product.

if quality hardware and little details matter buy the American standard. I bought this one first its a good guitar for the money but for the few extra dollars buy USA my feeling is its so much better

The HummCrunch

Yes this is a MIM fender but dont let it fool you..its worth it for the money thank God its not made in china!!!!

I belive this is one guitar that will hold true time...just like wine the older the better...

Your general opinion of this product.

Great Guitar...for $$$ and if small cosmitics worry you then get USA made Thineline.

light guitar...easy to play...

Besides how it looks...my favorite thing is the Sound!!! the hummbucker are thick...CRUNCH YEAHH..thru a Tube amp that is.

I can say a 4 out of 5..small cosmitic issues...

it sucked and had to take it to my guitar shop and have it done to my like..

Amazing Guitar

High quality all the way. The frets are smooth and level and no sharp fret ends sticking out. No flaws in the finish or craftsmanship.

Like all Fenders it should last a life time.

Your general opinion of this product.

I bought this guitar for my wife, she loves it! The grain in the wood is awesome, and it plays great.

Neck feels good in her hands, she has small hands. All the controls are smooth.

Has great tone.

No flaws at all, and I am really picky. She wanted the natural finish. Nice and glossy.

What an axe!!

This axe is well made, and worth every cent I paid. I also have a Jim Adkins model JA-90 Telecaster and a Fender Showmaster guitar (rare w/painted headstock), but I pick up this one first. My fave!!

Had mine for 2 yrs..and keep it well. I suggest buying a hardshell case as this baby deserves all the loving care it commands.

Your general opinion of this product.

Very satisfied. Well crafted, and I love that hollow body sound (semi).

Very fast action with that Thinline maple neck.

Gotta love those humbuckers...they enhance the sound from the semi-hollow body giving it great sustain. Depending on your amp/guitar settings, you can invariably attain just about any genre of sound your looking for...ie: blues, rock, country, but also great for R&B chicken picking.

The finish is superb. I chose the natural finish, and still not a scratch or ding on it, and trust me , I play it hard

I did have to do a little intonation work to get where I wanted it, but thats just me.
