Every guitarist should own this guitar. It's a tough mudder. It'll get you where you're going no matter what. The tone is solid and the guitar is well made. Love it!

Great modding platform!
What is your opinion of this product?
I’ve always been a Strat player and wanted to try a Tele. I own several Squiers so why not? First the good: The body finish is more pumpkin colored that butterscotch and is a semitransparent with a nice wood grain. Pickups are good though not a powerful as a Fender Tele (I replaced mine with EMG’s). Heavier guitar than I expected. Now the okay: The neck has a rough finish that needed to be sanded. Frets needed to be polished but not sharp edges. Tuners are good but were replaced with Fender locking ones. The bridge is a major upgrade from a traditional Tele one. If you want a Tele but are on a budget this is the one to go with. Minor mods and you’ll have a great guitar!

Surprisingly good
What is your opinion of this product?
Bought this a few days ago and it's pretty amazing what you get for the money. No sharp frets, setup not perfect, but playable and not too far out right out of the box. My preferred strings and a couple of tweaks made a huge improvement. The intonation is slightly off. That's pretty darn good for a factory fresh guitar in this price range. The stock strings are junk, as usual, and the nut could use some work, or better yet - replaced. I expected that and it's pretty much par for the course. The pickups are much better than I expected. They provide quite usable vintage Tele tone. The neck is really nice. C- shaped, narrow and a medium thickness front to back- which is just how I like it. The frets are a little smaller than what I would consider 'medium-jumbo' but it plays nice, very comfortable. I can see why this is such a popular platform for mods. With CNC machines producing such good, consistent builds, I consider this a golden age of affordable guitars.

Classic Tele, not classic Tele price!
What is your opinion of this product?
This is classic Telecaster value, look, and sound in a not-so-classic inexpensive Telecaster price! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, this is a great guitar, right out of the box. It has the look and feel of a butterscotch classic, and a sound to match. Highly recommended!
