    Product Description

The Gibson ES335 Exotic Woods Electric Guitar has been used by many artists from Chuck Berry to Larry Carlton, Freddie King to Alvin Lee, and has proven to be one of the most popular and adaptable guitars ever created. Touted as the wonder thin body by Gibson when it launched in 1958, the ES335 represented a ground breaking innovation in electric guitars. With its solid maple center block and f hole semi hollowbody design, the ES335 effectively delivers the singing sustain of a solidbody while preserving the tone and richness of a full hollowbody, with no feedback.

For 2006, the Custom Shop has made several changes to more accurately reflect an original ES335, including a period correct center block resulting in ten to fifteen percent weight reduction, a slightly thinner body, and lower binding height.
