    Product Description

The Gibson Quick Connect Dirty Fingers Humbucker Pickup provides super-hot, raw tone and requires no soldering for installation! Many of the newer Gibson USA guitars are come wired with the QC Control Panel Assembly needed to install the Quick Connect pickups. Only a screwdriver is required to remove the pickup mounting rings, then simply unplug the current pickup, and plug in your new tone!

Control Panel Board Conversion Kits and separate clips are available for quick install with older Les Paul and SG guitars.

Appropriately named, the Gibson Dirty Fingers pickup is manufactured with three powerful ceramic magnets to produce massive output for maximum in-your-face output without compromising the original tone of your guitar in any way. Whether you’re crunching hefty rhythm parts in a dropped tuning or peeling the paint off the wall with a blistering lead, the Gibson Dirty Fingers pickup puts your sound out front where it belongs.

What is your opinion of this product?
I have this pickup in a lp studio sprint run with 500k pots and coil splitting. It's a very clear articulate pickup with lots of low end and mids. It needs a little bit more treble to even it out, I think, but it sounds 100 times better and less muddy than the 57classic it replaced.

What is your opinion of this product?
Installed in the bridge position of my Gibson SG Special worn finish to replace 490T pickup, expecting more bottom end and more output. Didn't meet expectations. I don't hear more bottom end and output is only slightly increased. There is a little more grit. Problem may be Gibson's printed circuit board with 300 ohm pots. Reviews on the non-quick connect Dirty Fingers report increased bottom end, output and grit but I'm just not hearing it. Yes, I have a few good all tube amps and a few SS amps as well. Overall, I think the 490T sounds better and I may look into a 498T, but at next string change, I will probably re-install the 490T, at least for the time being. May install the Dirty Fingers in a different guitar.
