    Great Les Paul

What is your opinion of this product?
I just bought one of these from AMS and am very pleased. The first thing I noticed about the guitar (besides the light weight, which at 8 lbs 5 oz is pretty light for a non-chambered Les Paul) is how resonant it is unplugged. I have owned 5-6 Les Pauls and never have I had one that sounded this loud and alive acoustically. The finish looks great, much more understated that the glossy flame top LPs that are everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I love those too but their much higher cost and poorer resonance make these Faded models better players IMO. I like the vintage tuners and 57 Classic pickups better than Grovers and BurstBuckers. The guitar came perfectly set up (I believe they are PLEK'd at the factory). If you are looking for the best playing LP (short of a Custom shop model)and like the plain non-gloss top you can't go wrong, especially at the price. By the way the brown hard shell case with red lining is really nice.

    Awesome sound!
What is your opinion of this product?
I purchased this guitar and it sounds amazing lots of sustain and crunch glad I got it since its a limited run. They are hard to find but plays great ,action is smooth with 50 rounded neck. Honey burst color would have like to see some red or black in the finish but its a blondie cant go wrong with that!

    Not what I expected
What is your opinion of this product?
When I read the description of this axe, and viewed the pictures I was surprised. When I received it, I found the finish was not necessarily "Vintage," but a satin urethane matt look. I was a little disappointed... But I plugged it into a fender HR-Deluxe. Wow! The baseball bat neck and the action are great. The 50's zebra pickups scream. Anyway-the look has grown on me and I ain't giving this lady back. 4 stars because of the AMS description could have been more concise.

I knew it would be great!
What is your opinion of this product?
I always wanted a 2005 Standard Faded and just got this 2016 version today. Man, what a great guitar! Plays great, sounds super and the neck profile is an awsome 50's. The top on mine has really nice figure. I picked it out online by the photos!

    AWSOME!!!!
What is your opinion of this product?
First this was a replacement for a 2016 traditional which was beautiful but was the absolute worst sounding/playing les paul I"ve ever played. So took a chance with the standard faded 50"s and wow glad I did, plays great feels like a les paul supposed to at 9.8lbs sounds gritty and nasty overdriven.do your self a favor and save a grand over the flamed standard bla, bla, bla if you don't want the fancy top and like the old school look of plain top and great playability with a smooth satin finish then this is your new favorite guitar.
